HRC2016: Drones and a woman's uterus. Two things the GOP thinks need to have more government regulation.

What world you living in? When it comes to regulation the Dems are far worse.

Pauls' point is about DPR being Amazon shills, not necessarily the camera itself. Maybe you should try to think, read, and comprehend a little yourself, eh?

@tkbslc Try to read a little before you reply. His point is that he G9 is not even released or tested yet.

Pure mumbo jumbo. I do not trust companies that indulge in mumbo jumbo. Nikon must think that buyers of their products are graduate from Oxford U.

Not hard to figure out, translation: we're making more money elsewhere.

@GaryJP I'm all for choice but they are a private company free to do what they want with their software and payment model. You have a choice, use their product or don't, if enough people don't they may change. To your second comment, people who are ok with the direction Adobe is going don't feel the need to announce how content they are, people who feel slighted will almost always speak out and let it be known. People just love to be triggered/offended/victimized, etc. and I'd bet the content ones outnumber them many times over. I find the adobe cc to be an outstanding value.

trungtran: Are these new laws the product of the EU?
All this does is push models to have the correct body shape initially.

Next they will ban retouching in movies and video games.

Photography is art. Art is subjective and the artist has the right to convey the message they want.

Huffington Post is your idea of research? Lol

Ozturert, your naivety is mind boggling. It's about control, not safety.

I don't think he is an authority on image making and it surprises me that DPreview thinks it is important to publish what he thinks on the state of mobile photography or photography in general

"This is called no fact checking" aka fake news, lol....

You won't understand until you own one.

docdelete: Darn it! It still doesn't handle nested folders. Not for me anyway - I have a top level folder named after my son, no photos in the first level, but inside are dozens of named folders (years, events etc) and the new app simply doesn't see any photos if I ask it to look at the only the top folder. I can't believe this is too much to ask.

Well well, always a catch eh? That unfortunatley makes it virtually worthless as few people just dogpile all their photos into a single folder.

MEDISN: And when Google makes a compressed copy of your photo it erases relevant EXIF data including when the original photo was taken. I used it briefly as iPhone photo backup but reverted to OneDrive backup as it doesn't change the original and makes it simple to archive on my home server.

@Suave It's nothing to do with settings. You must use google drive in order to store the original file (which counts against your storage). Everything stored in the google photos app is compressed (unlimited storage).

elementare: People don't understand how ridiculous they are when they compare this lens with the Canon one telling which one is better and without having both lenses for a direct comparison. Canon is sharper and has less of this or that.... Nikon is sharper at f8.... Who of you genius has both lenses and has made a direct comparison between the two, pixel peeping the same pictures coming from them?

LMOE Being sarcastic or facetious is not necessarily trolling. How does critical thinking relate to me knowing the history of his postings, do you inspect everyone's history before commenting? Why would I know that? That makes no sense. If so then rule #1 is don't feed the trolls.
