Hi, here are some test prints from a x-ray film negativ (18x 24cm) developed in caffenol. The last one is toned in green tea. :-)

Hi, I just did a quick "scan" with the fp L and inverted the negatives. Here are the results: All photos taken with the incredible Mamiya 645 on Rollei Infrared 120 film with a 720nm filter. :-)

Thanks. I've taken the same view on B/W film. :-) -- Björn
  • Replied in Pineful Shadow
Thank you all for the nice words. This pond with the pine is not far from my house in eastern bavaria. I was there in the morning to take some largeformat shots on x-ray film, from which I'm ...

I just love this camera. Sorry for the wrong timestamps, I forgot to set it right. The pics are about one week old. :)

Shot with the Voigtländer Nokton 40mm f1.4 wide open. Just added a little contrast in post, nothing else. Unsharpness by intention. :) Shot with the Voigtländer Nokton 40mm f1.4 stopped down to ...
  • Little walk with the fp L and the Voigtländer Color Skopar 21mm f3.5.
  • Replied in FP rides again
I own a Minolta CLE and a Sigma fp L with a M to L-Mount close focus adapter. It was also my intention to have just one set of 35mm glass. Regarding the fp L it is a compact and powerful combo, as ...
  • You are correct. :)
  • Hi, so here are two images. Both shot with the Sigma fp L. But one is a film negative which I just digitized with the fp L and a macro lens. But which one? Submit your guess. :-)
  • Shot a few minutes ago... Out of cam JPEG. Shot with a custom BW profile and the TT-Artisan 50mm f1.4 wide open. :-D
  • Hi, excellent image. I like the view. :)
  • Hi thank you for the answer. I like to shoot BW a lot (on film too). The pictures from my DP3 in monochrome mode are just great. Even my fp L runs 90% in a custom BW profile. I think a de-bayered ...
  • Nice work Mark! You have a de-bayered fp L? How cool is this! I love the BW photos you have linked. :)
  • Thanks for your comment. The 50mm is a great lens for that price. I like Leica M-Mount lenses on the fp L. I'm currently looking for a wide angle lens like that TT-Artisan 21mm, but I must admit ...

    Mamiya RB67 shot with TT-Artisan 50mm 1.4
  • Hi, looks like you have heavy color casts in the corners of the fp L image. I have the same issues with my favorite manual lenses. You may correct this while shooting, by using the color shading ...
  • Not to many people know, that Mamiya built not only medium format cameras and lenses. Many of the older 35mm M42 or ZE lenses are great. I have a more modern version of the 135mm for Mamiya ...
  • Created discussion thread Sigma fp L with old Mamiya macro lenses
Hi, today I got a new old lens, a Mamiya-Sekoar M645 80mm f4.0 medium format macro. I use the Mamiya 645 lenses with cheap M645 to PK to L-Mount adapters on the fp L, no fancy speed booster or ...
