These images puzzles me. You have banding in the sky , and to me it looks like WB is wrong. Do you shoot in RAW ?

My purpose was to reduce highlights to an acceptable level. I could  easily made it brighter if I would. The editing from Digital Nigel is still  too bright.

Being so greedy in the long run is not a good idea , it might backfire.

I guess it's because they want to grab as much money as they can form you. Luminosity mask + Fine Contrast should not be in Film Pack , they belong to PL. I just paid 50% more , upgrading from ...

That's one of the reason I stopped using Lightroom. Blake Rudis inspired me to only use Photoshop > ACR. I also think he's also using Adobe Bridge.

As a temporary solution for that problem , try to open a raw file within photoshop. Photoshop will then open it in ACR. Does it become slow after a while ?

I agree , the new Luminosity mask is a game changer. It's similar to Lumenzia and TK9 in Photoshop. I have just upgraded , so it will take some time to learn how to use it.

I don't use C1 , so i don't know if it's better. Recovering Highlight in DxO is difficult , but you can get very good result , if you know what you are doing. I would love to see a challenging  ...
