I still use my D50 and D80 regularly and agree that the color renditions are great. Unfortunately the CCD sensors are not real good at high ISO shooting.

I had read that the e lens has an electromagnetic aperture and is not compatible with the d90. Could be mistaken.

I would keep the D90 as a backup and purchase the D7500. The D90 is still a great machine and the D7500 is still a top of the line DX.

I regularly use my D50 and D80, both have CCD sensors. Image reproduction and colors are excellent and unique.
