I had my 100-400 foot fall off straight from the factory. Replaced the foot and attached a safety lanyard.

My question is for in camera charging, does the power of the source matter? Does the camera regulate the power delivered?

I use the 40mm as a lightweight hiking/travel lens on my z6. Also as a faster lens for low light when using f4 zooms. For my use case I am very happy. Not as good as my 35 summicron, but it is ...

Thanks for your thoughts. Going to Africa. My initial thought was to charge in camera using a PD spec wall wart or through my MacBook, having a power bank in reserve hoping to minimize weight. ...

Just to be certain for Z9 in camera charging: will any pd rated wall charger be safe to use? I certainly do not want to damage the camera or battery. Thanks

Just two bodies- Z9 and Z6_1. I was planning to mount the 24-120 on the Z6. Not certain if I will take the 14-30. Can do panos instead. I am afraid I will miss more shots than I will gain if I ...

Thanks for the fast response. I think that if I am fortunate enough to see a polar bear I am likely to need 70mm. Still, taking both tiles means a lot of equipment on deck and no lens changes on ...

The posters are correct in that RAID will protect you against a drive failure. The problem is that if a drive is corrupted or taken by malware, RAID does not protect. My scheme is that I keep my ...

I agree with all you wrote. I have a Z9 + 500= TC1.4. When using the 500 + tc with my now sold D500 I used the Nikon gunsight accessory to get in the ballpark. My point to the OP is simply ...

My point is that photographers like Mark know the habitat and habits extremely well. They can get better Osprey photos with a brownie than most of us with 10k worth of equipment. A pontoon boat ...

For a fraction of the price of an 800mm if you want good Osprey photos do a lesson with Mark Smith in Vero Beach or rent a guide at Blue Cypress Lake.

Happy that this worked out! The AF takes quite a bit of practice and experience. Remember that for difficult subjects, manual focus with mag, a technique not available with your DSLR, will allow ...
