I will do thanks What I meant was that once I navigated away I couldn't find it again on the site, so thank you so much for the link
-
Thanks Ted. Yes it's more but it is also over a top faster even with a TC. My main use cases are youth sports and wildlife and the depth of field is enough at 2.8.

Thank you. I can't speak German and couldn't find them again once I'd navigated away from your share so it's really helpful, thank you

Ha, there's flocks of green parrots in London, there were a few around Fulham when I worked there years ago. Is the 70-300 that good? I'm new to the system (still waiting actually if you see my ...

I ordered an S5iiX direct from Panasonic with the the 20-60, 50 and 100 and after what seems like months (it's actually about a month) their warehouse system is back up and my order is finally ...

I just bought a S5iiX with 20-60, 50 f1.8 and 100 f2.8 macro direct from Panasonic for £2699, I will probably add the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 and TC before the next football season but was really close ...

That first set are beautiful!! How much is the lens and how much is your processing? I love the look

Hi Luke, I think that Panasonic are confusing the issue here, in general computing terms double every time - so to record a 14 bit file you'd use a 16-but (or greater) data type. I suspect that ...

My take away from this is not really anything current, we have the discontinued GX9, or for features the OM5 and for even more portability but without some of the features the G100D. I had the ...

Hi all, I am looking to move back to m43 with the OM1 ii and the pro zooms as my main camera but one of the things I loved about this system was the smaller bodies. The GX7 was my favourite ever ...

I started with the R5 and I now shoot mainly sports so was looking to add the R3. I settled on the R6ii and couldn't be happier with the pairing overall. I've used the R3 for a few events and ...

Hi all, I wanted to follow up in case anyone else is in a similar position. I got to use the R6II for an event alongside mr R5 and I have to say its brilliant. The AF is as on a par with the R3, ...
-
You need to keep your tools working and to factor those costs into your pricing. You said you've shot 40 weddings with your R5, personally I'd have budgeted on a new camera over that time and if ...
-
Oh the R6II has that feature like the R3 Do any others have it now? It's such a time saver for sports that you can start culling photos quickly on any down time
-
No, raw and a laptop with standard processing. I don't have kit for field printing anymore! Sales off the website are fine, and I make sure the site is set up before the event and promoted by ...

Thanks for the heads up, after cashback it's similar to that from some authorised dealers now (actually a bit cheaper ex VAT although I can no longer claim the VAT back). As I don't want my other ...
-
Yep the price difference is the driver for my question, for full time work I wouldn't even ask, and if I could guarantee that X events would pay for the R3 If budget it in. But the income is not ...
-
Thank you for the detailed reply. This is the kind of feedback that I was looking for. It sounds like the R7 is a good tool but there's less to love about it, you are right the driver would be cost.
-
Thank you, this is the kind of feedback I was after, I hadn't considered the mechanical shutter may be louder than the R5 or that the rolling shutter would be worse. It's the reason I don't use ...
-
Hi forum! I happily use my R5 day to day and for most weekends shooting sports, wildlife etc and have no desire to upgrade or improve that any time soon. I used to be a full time pro and now a few ...
