  • If someone is poor it is not necessarily my fault and I should not feel ashamed for being successful. Best answer to a post such as this....
  • I have the Voigt 35mm 1.2 and I never use it. Too big and heavy. Once you have native Leica lens you will not want to use other brands. But from what I saw with the 35mm 1.2 I would think the Voigt ...
  • Don't try the black chrome versions...you will either be shelling out beaucoup dollars or will be forever sad....I found out the hard way.
  • Yes it is called the Leica M10. Good prices relatively new or used in the $4500+ range. Check BH Photo for example. Add Visoflex 020 and you are good to go. SL and SL2 do not work as well as a ...
  • It's a great lens. Works wonderfully on SL2. On CL hard to shoot in low light conditions but outdoors is fine. Let's hope for IBIS on the CL2. I will be one of the first to buy one!
  • I did not like the Q LCD viewfinder. It was the main reason I sold and bought the Q2 for its OLED view. OLED is much better in any camera more than past LCD types. Same goes for SL.
  • Replied in Leica D-Lux7
Hi Ed, I have one in as new condition. Purchased last year from B&H but did not end up using (trip cancelled due to COVID). Silver and black model. $900 including shipping and Paypal fees. Thanks. ...
  • Fuji X-S10 with the trusty 18-56mm F2.8-4 zoom. If budget no issue then live a little and get the Leica CL with zoom and maybe the 23mm prime. Add a nice 125 cm Rock N Roll strap! https://rocknroll ...
  • I have the S1R, S5, SL2 and SL2-S. They each have their strengths. In some cases I am getting the best picture from the S1R and sometimes the SL2-S. It just depends on the situation. In general ...
  • I just received the Sigma and have had the Leica for a year. I would rate the Leica as 10% better overall in sharpness, color, and micro-contrast. You can see a difference but it is slight using a ...
  • As an owner of both I would definitely keep the x100V. It is a great camera and fairly different from the CL. The CL is worth getting as well if you can find deals on the lenses. I was lucky to to ...
  • Replied in S1R vs SL2
Yes the Nikon Z is great. I would not worry about switching if you are happy with it. Great layout and responsive cameras with great output. I was just heading in the direction of more old school ...
  • Replied in S1R vs SL2
The 50r will out resolve the SL2. It also is way better than the APS-C Fujis and I would say has a more natural look (Bayer vs X-trans). But thay all are great cameras. I went on a buying spree ...
  • I think anyone suggesting banning others should be banned. And they should be the only people banned.
  • I tired the X-T30 as a small travel camera and returned it. The controls are too cramped. Kept hitting the joystick by accident. Some people also do not like the Q button location. Pickup up the ...
  • Replied in S1R vs SL2
The 110mm is an amazing lens. I have no idea about all the technical details of it. I can only say it along with the 50r body make pictures unlike any others I have taken on other systems. I also ...
  • Replied in S1R vs SL2
Yes I just picked up the Fuji 50R with 50mm and also bought a used 110mm separately. It truly is a level above full frame. But sometimes buying a body like the SL@ or S1R is also about the system ...
  • As an owner of the CL and the TL (not TL2) I would strongly suggest finding a deal on a CL. Once you add the Visoflex you are starting to get closer to the CL cost. I never use my TL but love my CL. ...
  • Replied in S1R vs SL2
As an owner of both the S1R and SL2 as well as the 50mm Panasonic and the Summicron 50mm F2 I can say that there is a noticeable difference in the image processing within each camera and also the ...
