I totally agree with you. I own the ZS100 and ZS200, and the lenses are sharp when held steady.

I don’t like cameras that make you hang on to a slippery smooth metal. I like a leathery, rubbery feel. It also protects the body from nicks and dents.

The HS50EXR is IMHO the best bridge camera ever with the X-S1 close behind. The 50EXR does indeed have a fully articulated LCD and a very sharp lens.

For more telephoto, I find the Panny ZS200 to be very portable, and mine has a sharp lens. I wish more cameras would include GPS.
