Fujifilm X10
Fujifilm X-S1
Nikon Coolpix A
Quality build, fascinating EXR tech, good lens. Manual zoom is nice.
Same sensor and EXR tech as X10. Love the manual zoom. It makes jpeg images the way I like them.
Very high quality images, excellent build quality. AF a bit slow, but accurate. Miss a video button.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000
Fast, versatile, good image quality. Many features. Love the 4K.

Canon PowerShot G10
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3
Nikon Coolpix P7800
Rugged, sharp, full-featured, lots of resolution in its day. Loved to clip highlights though.
Jewel of a cam.
Very fully specified serious compact. Slow processor, wonky four-way controller after a few months
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10
Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100 (Lumix DMC-TZ100)
Nikon D70
Excellent optic. Great HD video. Very slow electronic zooming, start-up and shutdown. Jpeg images just okay. Raw is better.
Zoom got gritty and quit. Sensor developed dust. Lens wasn't very sharp. But I loved the 4K features and zoom range for a compact.
Nice entry into digital SLR photography in 2003.
Nikon D80
Nikon D5000
Nikon D5100
Just loved its CCD images with that great 18-135 kit zoom.
Did everything well for its time
Best all-round DSLR at lower price point
Nikon D3300
Nikon D3400
I'd highly recommend this, as a basic DSLR to buy at its discounted price.
Somewhat better and somewhat lacking, in comparison to its predecessor.
