The lens affected is the eos (with adapter) 100-400 IS II.

With my R5, I have noticed that the focusing when the battery is low (1 bar), becomes slow and erratic. Is this a fluke?

Any opinion about filters, especially circular polarizing ones that can change colors?

I was referencing the old Leica 50mm Summicron of the 1950-960s compared to the Canon ef 50 F1.4 until the digital age. I think during those times, both were considered the best prime lenses.

Does anyone know how an old classic  top prime lens e.g. F2 Leica Summicron stands up against a newer top prime like Canon F1.4, regarding sharpness?

I have seen a chart that says the R5 IS works best with RF lenses in the short range (e.g. 24-105mm), but is not as good at longer ranges where you would need it more. WHY?
