Its not a camera for me but i was looking forward to see wha new Fuji HDR mode brings to the table. Dissapointed with the implementation. Its a far cry from what phones can do. Hopefuly better HDR modes based on tiling and multiple exposure will start to make its way into cameras sooner than later

I like OVFs. The rest is pretty much irrelevant.

Hellraiser: With the additions to video oriented features for z6, this lens will be great for videographers.

@jjx01 - there isnt much tracking in the most of the scenes, and like Ive stated in previous posts there are examples of scenes filmed even at f0.7
Besides, the lens isnt stuck at f0.95. it just enables you more creative control.

gianstam: Why so many people here complain about price?
If I was a paid photographer I woud not have any problem to spend $297 for weekend sport event or, say, for two weddings.

The point is - there was enough DOF even at 0.7

Hellraiser: Note to camera manufacturers - you better start implementing some of the computational photogrophy features or the smartphone is going to eat you market right in front of you and youll starve...

Every hardware part of Google's phone is outsorced, not only optics. Google is primary a software company.
On the other hand, android is afaik open source so Sony (or anyone) can implement part of it that are photography related in their cameras.

TBH, fake bokeh is the least appealing benefit of computational photography. greatly increased DR and actuance are the ones i'd gladly have in a camera.
@tkbslc - the optimist in me doesnt want to believe that :)

@Henricusmaria - any relevant information where I can find that some other relevant factors are taken into consideration or you are just making things up?
In netflixes paper there is pretty straightforward spec cameras should cover. I dont see anywhere of these "other thimgs taken into consideration"..

@pollup - any quote from where did you get this "other things are being taken into considerstion". Or you are just making things up?
For example there are some 2/3" cameras on the list, so there is 0 cahnce that DR is taken ito consideration.

@Henricusmaria Fuji probably doesnt want to pay for the certification. Besides, my Fuji camera wont be added because only Fuji i shppt with is the x100 line. I dont really fancy cameras without OVF.

@Henricusmaria XT3 and i think even XH1 with some updates cover the specs set by netflix. And have you seen fujis x mount video lenses. They are far ahead of what s mount has.

Arastoo Vaziri: I'm shocked Apple, Huawei or Samsung aren't amongst the Post Technology Alliance participants.
When will those Netflix hipsters open their eyes to the wonders of smartphones and "computational" imaging?

Smartphones have come a long way in still imahe production. There they can rival much bigger sensors. Bit they are still a dud when it comes to video.
