I am surprised that the interviewer didn't ask about a possible future collaboration with Olympus, I think many would be interested to know about that.

Aroart: lets play guess the price.. $2899.99

I would be surprised if the price is lower than 4000 $

panther fan: With canon I am always a bit skeptical about the fine print. They love protecting their cinema cameras.
So, if those specs are real and have no
-huge crop
-line skipping / binning
-upscaling
-Lack of AF
-Lack of usable codec
-Record limit
Or similar that would be really something. My personal bet is we will get a bad codec, paired with no AF, and some limited frame rates to get these specs. But I would love to be proven wrong

Or we will see hefty updated cinema cameras as well in the near future.

After Nikon and Olympus doomed releases yesterday, this is very good and refreshing news.

Ixoye: I am interested in buying this for my Pen-F as a walk-around lens if the performance of f4 is good enough.

@Tim Reidy Productions My thought was about the image quality at f:4 not the lens speed, which i think is good enough for my old Pen-F, I have 12-15 and 45mm fast primes for low-light backup if needed.

@DtBB for everyone who values a compact system it is a great option.

The lack of IBIS is the only thing that keeps me from buying this camera.

If this rumor are true, then what will Nikon do, give up and die?

I tested a vintage Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. on an Olympus OM-D 10 MKII, but it was way too soft and nothing I would use today.

I'm not impressed, looks soft and mushy to me.
