About me:

I'm taking pictures since over 45 years. Learned the handcraft by a landscape and architecture photographer. Rolleiflex, Mamiya RB 67, Nikonos IV, Sigma. Now I've come to Sigma SD1 M, Sony A900 and Zeiss. Almost with tripod.

Suave: Wish they'd let Kata be.

I own a Kata backpack since many years and use it for challenging hiking tours at all weather about every week. The outer lining and zippers are still about "100%", only the lining where it has continuous contact to the back of my parka has some demages.
Therefore I looked for weeks for an equal replacement in all brands ... There is not replacement for Kata, even not at Manfrotto! The robust lining, wearing belts and zippers are unsurpassed. Finally I decided to put off any gear of the backpack, put it into the bathtube, dried it 2 days, and I am using it on and on...
