kriztian: At first glance it looks like a good camera but when diving into the specs it is not that impressive. I have a canon m100 that takes better pics than the Sony 1080p and also have a stabilized lens and less rolling shutter. Bought it for 250 euros on sale in Spain. I say like the dude in camera conspiracy use to say. "Why did you do this to me Sony?"

I recorded a band playing outside in a plaza in Las Palmas where people were dancing and drinking. Lot´s of noise. It was in the evening and I recorded for like 1 and a half hour with the internal mic. It came out brilliant, and listening and watching on the phone like most people do these day´s it was sharp noise free and with good sound.

I think the test should show the best from the lens not oversharpened High ISO and purple fringing. Stuff that can easily be taken care of in camera.

The Pentax K1 is blowing them all out of the water. ( with the exception of pixelshift versus panasonic )

I am glad Pentax stick to the DSLR system. I like to take pictures with the accuracy of the viewfinder. What I want is a histogram in the viewfinder though if that is possible.

It all comes down to how good the pictures will be, how well it´s build and how comfortable it is in handling. If good lot´s of people will buy it, including me. When I look at old photos I think, video is nice and fun but it can´t beat a good old photo.

I bought a new one in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for 249 Euros including the 15-45 lens and I have not regret it. It is perfect for social media, selfies and short film-clip. The settings are easily changed and it also have automatic settings that are perfectly fine. Fact is I filmed a whole concert with it and used the internal microphone witch works very well if one standing near the sound and it is fairly loud music. I slapped a filter on in editing and uploaded it to the cloud and sent it to the band who was very happy and impressed. A perfect camera for all around shooting. Only thing I don´t like there is no remote video start, stop control only pictures in the phone app. Very happy with it.

Video spec´s seems below Nikon for average users. No image stabilization, 1.7 crop. This will compete with 6D mark ii rather than Nikon Z.

The picture´s look like crap. Over-processed, unsharp and noisy. The motive´s like they have been staged or in case of the old woman making her look bad. What is going on here? Is it a spoiled brat who took them?

Don´t Sony have a tone of bloatware? Other issues like in their mirrorless system´s?

I believe there will be a market for uploading pictures and process them in the cloud.

North of 46: I can imagine that Sony might wish to roll out this technology in the A7S (mark 4?).

A full-frame 12 MP sensor built to do low-light video work using this perfected global shutter system would be quite attractive to filmmakers (as a supplement to proper video camera set ups using the same global shutter technology).

more likely the A7S mark 12 or 25

Forgot to mention the little blop on the forehead of the Apple X (pensive). Looks like the haircut of a lunatic serial killer in a horror movie :)

I am not impressed. Had a Lumia 1020 and it was 100 times better. Once I did a 150 mp pic with hdr on that phone. It is a bloody shame they did not follow up on that camera. I believe Microsoft lost their phone business because of it. If Nokia makes a new phone with big sensor and lots of pixels I will definitely buy it. For now I am perfectly happy with a galaxy A5 The pictures from that phone is better than the examples shown here. Apple sucks :)

I compared it to Lumia 1020 and the Iphone 7 plus looks like crap I have to say. I am waiting for the new Nokia lineup hoping that they are doing a better version of the 1020. Cheers :)

kriztian: This camera does not strike me as a landscapecamera. small sensor and not the best dynamic range with a low pixelcount. None of the pictures challenge the dynamic range and it would have been better if they tried it at a sportevent or similar. Cheers:)

unless something is moving in the motive :)
