I don't like the way you present the new featers of the firmware 2.0.
In the past I was watching Digitalrev but the presenter Kai Man Wong started to be more and more "funny" and finaly I stopped watching Digitalrev. Hope you don't go the same way.
Nikon D700. the Nikon D750 has its white balance button right under the point of my nose while looking thru the viewfinder. I have changed the white balance many times while looking thru the viewfinder and changing the aperure by turning the back wheel. My choice D700
I own the Sony A7c which is, in my opinion, a capable camera but I have
some wishes.
- high res view finder
- view finder should be complete visible with glasses on
- better grip including option wheel
- implement the menu system like the Sony a7 IV, perhaps as firmware update?
- a menu item where you can also select which items to display / combine.
Now there are only standard sets and I would like to combine items on
the display myself. For instance I would like to see the exposure curve
together with the artificial horizon.
Further more, keep the design the same with the fully articulating screen
which is the best way of handeling for video for me.
OK, I will wait for the Sony A7VI ;-)
Downloaded the Windows installer, started the program and followed the instructions. Waiting.... waiting.... Boooom version 2.0 was installed on my Sony A7C. Now I will get sharp pictures of Rudolf.
Merry christmas everyone!!
At least Rene Compean has a nice story to tell on a birthday ;-)
I switch from Nikon D750 to Sony A7C. Technacally the Sony is much better in many respects but if it comes to handeling and the viewfinder. The Nikon still rocks. But switching to Nikon Z. No
Zeiss ZX1 interchangable lens camera with Contax / Yashica mount should be nice. :-)
Wake up Sony! It's time for the new A7 IV
Maybe it is an idea to also test the viewfinder with glasses on? There are plenty of photographers who wear glasses. I certainly do.
Finally a camera which comes close to the Contact G1 / G2. Love the form factor of the a7C. Technically it seems that you have to wait for the a7C III to get the last available technology.
I use Gimp for years and still do. But the user interface is a mess and you ( Idid) can really make it a mess in such a way you ( I ) can repair. To get the default back I have to re-install it. Now Glimpse is available I will try.
I tried the Sony A73 in comparison to the Nikon Z6. The EVF and the handlin of the Nikon was much better for me. Now the Fuji X-T4 will hit the market soon, Sony have to wake up i.m.h.o.
If I'm finished digitizing my negatives I have to go to a repair center for a shutter replacement. :-))
I have to wait for the Sony a9999 where finaly all the cons are solved till then I go on using my Nikon, I think it will be for years :-)
I wish that the Sony A7iii holds as comfortable as my Nikon D750. For this reason I stick to my Nikon but won't switch to the Z-series.
I like the ergonomics / grip of Nikon much more than the Sony Alpha. Hope Sony will change that in the future.
Oooh no, it's a big brick and clumsy camera . I keep my D750 ;-)
Barend: I would like to have a viewfinder which can be 100% viewed when wearing my glasses.
uhh no. I can't see the complete image in the viewfinder of my Nikon D750 without moving the camera body / view finder over my glasses.
