BTW, the last time I used the word knob was in the kitchen. Something to do with the butter.

Yes, Canon and Nikon have shut down their world wide operations effective immediately...all because of this new M43rds camera. True, father Xmas told me the other night.

Another brilliant performance by the PR marketing machine. Has the plebs salivating. When a company tries hard to make you believe in its product..fail. It will be just another nice M43rds camera lagging behind DSLRs in AFC focusing. Yes, the first one will be in focus, but the other 59 won't be.

david vella: Nikon DX Dslrs are on borrowed time ..
Z mount and FF is Nikon's future .

@david vella ... Nikon are pricing themselves out of the market with the Z mount. Fuji will take over. At around $3K AUS body only for the Z6, the Fuji is inviting.

(unknown member): Well I will say this...

Nikon Promised You All a Mercedes Benz or The Second Coming..depending who you all believe, The Best Damn Mirrorless Camera. Nikon Had YEARS to listen to what Sony Users, Second Card Slot, Quirky Menu,Mushy Buttons, Poor Weather Sealant, And On And On...It is like Deaf and Blind Nikon...Just didn’t get it..Or Nikon is runned by some Stupid Numb Skulls. Dear Wedding Photographers..Do you truly Trust a One Card Slot. Z7 or Z6 Camera..Shooting A Wedding? Will Nikon pay for a redo Wedding, when that one Card Fails?

For months Nikon said that Z7 is the Mirrorless of the D850...No The Fudge It is Not! Less Dynamic and a Quirky AF System. Nikon ...It is like you truly fail to Hear your own Customers. And Nikon...Z7 is Over Priced. I am Nikon, and Truly Disappointed.

I am Excited about LUMIX S1R...Two Card Slots. See Nikon it can be done.

Bad day at the office, or the Mrs knocked you back this morning?

tribpc: Nikon D3xxx, D5xxx and D7xxx, IMO, can only need one single product line for DX consumer with full operational buttons in D750 and then D5xx for DX professional sport or bird photographers. My first DSLR camera was D5500. It has excellent sensor with great output image quality but it's missing a lot of functions in D7xxx and D500 so I switched to Fuji and I was very pleased with Fuji because Fuji offers more professional functions in their APS-C camera bodies

Hellraiser is typical of the internet psychologically disturbed. They are proven wrong with fact then retort to abuse and run. Child issues have to be resolved.

@Hellraiser lol. You really have no idea about photography in general, do you. So just to make this end, Tamron is too slow, and yes, of course, the engineers made the 18-35 too heavy for the little man. W*F, the people on DPR never cease to amaze.

@Hellraiser ---- Tamron 10-24mm Series 2, and the Sigma 18-35 f1.8 all in Nikon mount.

@HowaboutRAW ... no i don't decide. They speak for themselves.
eg: Those who have not owned this camera yet decide it's useless -lol- can you see how stupid they are, but this is the crowd at DPR.

Hansadlp: Picture of label shows it is now made in China. Prevoius D-Lux was Japanse made or assembled, at least it came from a separate production facility. This used to set it apart from the China made LX100 and seemed to justify -to some - the premium price. Oh well, I hope they fixed the sensor dust issue which was very persistent with my D-lux.

@Hansadlp .. Pravda, Dolce Gabbana, Armani and Mercedes Benz E and A class are made in China as well as many other high end products...... your point being??

Jostian: come on DPR, ask them about the dust on sensor which plagued so many of us Mark I owners... DPR are in a perfect position to ask Panasonic if anything has been done to address the dust issue, especially if its the same lens setup on the Mark II!

...yeah easily fixed...don't go to the beach.

princecody: Dang it Panasonic! For a $1k I want a flipping tilting screen 😠 How hard is that to do? It’s 2018 NOT 2010 🙄

@FodgeandDurn ... being stupid, ignorant and devoid of logic doesn't bode well on "discussion boards", nor does it give you the right to be stupid. We all know that the camera doesn't have a flip screen, hence stupid remarks..("How hard is that to do? It’s 2018 NOT 2010").. about the manufacturer not implementing one is foolishness. Decency has nothing to do with it. As for your needs, i'm sure you are intelligent enough to buy a camera WITH a flip screen. Yes, todays photographer still needs his rear wiped or he crys, moans and acts petulant if he doesn't get what he wants. Chill out as they say.
