  • Why not the A77ii? I own both the A77 and A77ii.   Version 2 made massive upgrades to the AF performance,  more AF points and it will focus in very low light (-4EV if I recall) The A mount cameras ...

Fisheye crop of my car taken 30 minutes outside of Calgary, AB, at the entrance to the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory, which I discovered was closed at 3AM :(
Car is lit by a half moon outside of the frame, also illuminating the clouds.
House in the corner had green christmas lights on causing the glow seen.

Do non flying birds count in this challenge, penguins, chickens, ostrich for example?

  • The A77ii omitted the AF assist lamp for similar reasons, no need to have it if your AF system can work in low light.

As said above, the best features of 4 Sony cameras seem to be combined into...

  • I think they played it extremely well. Just yesterday I was looking at the sony website and saw a new A68. Thought, what?! I thought I would never see the day a new A mount was released. ...

  • Exactly. I've never been a fan of the retro/hipster look of the new mirroless cameras, plus it's not as comfy as a full size DSLR style body.

  • People are crazy saying the existing A-mount Glass cant resolve 42 megapixels. the A6000 has the same sensor size as the A77/A77ii, and the new A99ii has the same sensor size as the A7Rii. Case...

  • Submitted a challenge entry Sunset of Fire 2
Took a relatively bland picture of a sunset reflecting in the clouds and made it look like fire was burning.

Used Lightroom with Radial filters and graduated filters to blur out everything but the reddest part of the clouds. Changed the vibrance and saturation of reds and blacks to give the impression of fire.
