On article Nikon Z7 Review (4485 comments in total)

What I like--5 axis stabilization-medium light weight construction-55mm 25%wider Z mount--///But-Nikon pl see towards Canon--stop all Z production--till you can not provide anti- dust technology --now we customers will have to reach Nikon's Service Centre--since the mount is wider than usual-and dust will go easily.

Canon giving a shutter to prevent it's censor as you remove the lens!

Remember--from my recent experience the service of Nikon Service Centre of my city very poor--I have given twice to clean a sensor after giving Nikon D75O shutter replacement-Now also some spot in sensor--the service centre sent my camera for repair to Kolkata without the body cap--a big hole to penetrate dust!

We have to remind the Service Centre Nikon's employee to close the cap!No awareness at all that what is the use of a cap!

Nikon must go forward-competition is highest!See one day Fuji will take the lead beating Sony!!Not impossible!

Dames01: Glad that so many people won't be ordering this camera because of it's lack of IBIS. Means that those of us who do won't have to wait as long as those who want to buy into the Z system ;-)

Evolution and revolution-after many barriers technology gets it's Everest-Here I want to refer "the War of Currents".NikolaTesla’s called “alternating current” (AC) while Thomas Alva Edison invented the “direct current” (DC).Both were interested in Niagara Falls plant ;In 1895 -Tesla and industrialist George Westinghouse had succeeded to set up hydro-electric power after beating Edison.Tesla had a long dream to fulfill-//

Lord Kelvin too impressed over Edison-AC current won!

So -I think we can introduce Big mounts-light lens-5 axis stabilization-Canon like shutter mechanisms-when you down your camera mount-the shutter comes down to protect sensor-I hope in single camera we can not only take 12000K pics-but camera canbe a S-0-S device-

My final word--Canon-Nikon has going through the transformations--but who is the fittest they will survive--Fuji-Nikon-Panasonic-Sony-etc-may be we can expect mobiles with light grips! With blazing performance!

mayurgogoi: Canon Sorry--you can not compete with lighter mirror less-your RF lenses are heavy-Who will buy?It is like a lab test @ cost of million dollars--Ugly move--!We still expect lighter system with lighter lens--after spending billions how Canon will Survive?

what you are trying to say-i could not understand--but with heavy lens Canon R mount we can not get any difference from original EF mount from weight preference-First I was expected from Nikon-Nikon Big mount is better-since light will enter more! But Autofocus system-is complex-//Nikon is also not light! So Sony systems now--many will prefer--From Canon what we have expected-we could not get from R mount! Not I'm only saying--here Criticisms against Canon--but I appreciate Canon -When you off the camera lens the shutter will come down!Innovative!

GabrielZ: Another ‘meh’ camera release by Canon and I’m a Canon/Fuji user. Tomorrow’s Fujifilm X-T3 release will be more impressive than this, and that’s APS-C! I didn’t think I would be saying this, as I was mildly disappointed by Nikon’s Z7 too. But that camera is more interesting than this one! Anybody notice that both Nikon and Canon are using the same top-panel OLED info-panel on their FF MILCs? I’m also surprised by how much worse the video spec is on this camera than its competition too. Sony I don’t think need to be worried by Nikon and Canon’s new introductions for the time being.

Suicide game by Canon now and Nikon Z7-Autofocus system may be not handy in tough situations!

mayurgogoi: I could not consume the new type of Auto Focus system--you have to always push "ok"-it's not a symbol of Sports Photography--I think Nikon will refine through software updates-JPEgs are sharp-colours not very bad!

let's see-how people reacts!

very nice detail and light control--to control noise probably photographer uses the lowest ISO and done -1 compensation-I would like to see at ISO 3200 without exposure compensation to see the noise--

I would like to see about f/8-More DoF might give the opportunity to see the detail here.

In reply to:

Buzz Lightyear: FYI - the owner of this place has turned the whole property into a museum of 1950 vintage era paraphernalia. The are old cars, gas pumps, petroleum brand signs and an assortment of automotive tools - most of which are left rusting outside. The more fragile or valuable items fill the interior of the station. There is even a 1950's era hamburger stand on the property. Unfortunately, it didn't serve any food - but he lets anyone stroll around and take all the pictures you want for a suggested "donation" (I think it was $10 dollars US).

Your effort is appreciable-To preserve old has been a challenge-without understanding old we will be untold.
