I TOTALLY WRECKED my left lower arm taking 7,000 photos with this beast in the first 20 hours I had the lens. 12 days later and I still have so much pain I'm having trouble sleeping. Thanks Nikon. But it's sharp ....
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 180-400mm F4E TC1.4 FL ED VR
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 500mm F5.6E PF ED VR
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm F2.8E FL ED VR
Love the lens - but the images with the TC engaged are very poor vs. with the lens with no TC. I've adjusted AF Fine Tuning 5 times, and still the images are essentially unusable. But, interestingly, images look OK using the D6 with this lens with TC engaged. Strange.
Sharp
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR
Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-14E II
Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-14E III
Overpriced - especially compared to Sigma and Tamron 100-400
Still need this for full compatibility with my 18 year old Nikon 300mm 2.8 AF-S II D lens
Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-17E II
Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-20E III
Nikon Nikkor Z 14-30mm F4 S
Has always been the black sheep of the Nikon TC family. Almost all reviews are Meh.
