About me:

British architect and amateur photographer based in Antwerpen, Belgium.

Born and raised in the UK’s Worcestershire countryside, I spent much of my childhood in nature. It’s no coincidence that my photographical interests are landscapes, travel and the outdoors.

As an architect I work almost exclusively on large scale urban sites in bustling European cities. Photography provides me with an antidote to my day job. A chance to travel, explore and wander locally or abroad with a trusty set of hiking boots and my camera gear. For me, photography is much more than capturing a great image. The image itself is the icing on the cake. But it’s the thrill of planning my shoot, preparing my hiking gear, stepping into the unknown and seeking out new vistas that excites me the most.

  • Nice, yes. If only Tamron would release something like this to Canon M. I’d happily grab this and an M6ii to pair with my 11-22 & 55-250.

  • Yes, a one-off morning shoot as part of a longer landscape photography trip. Renting is indeed the idea I had too. Really not sure how close is possible, allowed or safe with respect to these ...
  • Created question thread Deer rutting season - M5 + ?
Hi everyone, I'm going on an organised tour to see the stags during rutting season in the next couple of weeks. Can I ask for your recommendations of what to pair with my M5 (with or without ...
  • Makes sense - especially given that they announced the M6ii replaces both M5 & M6. Here's hoping the 'retirement' of the M5 line paves way for an altogether new flagship. Anyone else experiencing ...
  • Thanks to all for taking the time to post images and opinions. All very useful to me, especially, as one poster suggested, with the official reviews tending to be a little misleading. If I manage ...
  • Yes, i'm convinced of the lens' quality having used it for 3 years with my M5. Specifically i'm interested in its performance on the M6 II, in my decision over upgrading my M5. Some of the reviews ...
  • Created question thread 11-22mm performance with M6 II?
Interested in real life experiences, preferably with comparison shots, of how the M6II and 11-22 lens resolve the increase in mpx. I shoot landscapes with M5, 11-22, 24, 40 and 55-250, and having ...
