I use the 90mm on the A6500 and before that I used it on the A6000. It is a big lens, but I think it balances well on these cameras and I have never felt like the camera mount wasn't up to the task.

That pic shows the DSLR version of the Sigma 70mm. The E mount version has the built-in adapter which makes it longer.

It is very far from correct. As explained in this post , the wavelength of visible light is around 1000 times smaller than the aperture diameter of a typical lens at its smallest f/stop.
