Gary Martin: Just like the EM5III, DPReview has problems with subject tracking AF, whereas most review sites praise it, including users. What's the truth here?

I agree that EM1 III C-AF tracking is nothing to be proud of when comparing to Nikon Z6. However, overall C-AF performance due to speed and accuracy, I and my friend (I own EM1 III and my friend Z6) found EM1 III to be better in actual real life. My friend who is a long time Nikon user and has been doing photography for decades unlike me for about 2 years for the record. We did the test of his cutie bunny subjects the other day and he was shocked that I captured photos that he had been trying to do for a year with his Z6 without success. He occasionally does photo gig for a local soccer team Sporting KC so his skills are beyond me. FWIW.

Funny Valentine: But can you trust Olympus? They also said many times that they have no intention of selling their camera division. But they did.

I don't think any of these lenses will be produced. The will only release the 100-400 before JIP takes over, and JIP will dismantle everything and we will have an apology note from olympus and that's it.

That statement came before the pandemic of which no one could have predicted. I believe it played huge part in the final decision to divest their imaging department.
