Thanks, once out of lockdown I will check the Z with the faster lenses as well and compare again with the others.

There is no issue with the Nikon Z. The lens is straight so you do not come in contact. I did not test the Canon I must admit.

For the price and size it really looks like a very good and sharp lens. Slow and limited zoom is the trade-off. But image quality is more than acceptable.

Been on many Safaris. Aperture was the main constraint for shooting... lots of action happens in the morning and evening hours. F5.6 is already challenging, F11 ... good luck.
