Basicaly, a revived Nikon 1
attomole: Just copy the comments section and add it to the next leica product that's announced on here, it will save everyone the bother of posting that same stuff over and over.
And better micro lenses as usual
Although it's too expensive to be justified
(3x5x35)+35+35+35+35+35 = (3x5x35)+(2x0x5x35)+(1x5x35) = (15x35)+(2x0x175)+(1x5x35)
divide the by 5 without having remainders
(3x7) + (2x0x15 ) + (1x5x7)
flip the + with x and x with +
(3+7) x (2+0+15) x (1+5+7) = 2210
2210/65 = 34 and the missing one is the prince of lies himself which I can't love the 65mm
I'm siding with Jordan!
rogerstpierre: Obviously Olympus made a huge strategic mistake when designing this lens. A pity they didn't consult the many DPR Forums experts who would have told them how they could have made this lens 2 stops faster, 2/3 the size and weight for 1/3 the cost.
And let the lenses be fisher-price transparent plastic than glass since micro contrast doesn't exist and glass is overpriced and too heavy
An adapter that functions like the HCam B1
JochenIs: The form factor of the a7c is a big advantage when packing. But i still want a good viewfinder and display. The flippy screen is more practical than this screen of the a7c where I have to unfold it first. 99% of the time tilt is enough for me.
That viefinder bump was the reason for me not to get the original A7. Funny that the A7c now looks exactly like the gx-7 i went with a few years back. Oof, the 7 year old panasonic has better touch screen implementation.
Well, it's a "premium vlogging cam"
In which no one will use 100mm-300mm lenses and larger EVF will sacrifice the

Fotoni: Is it me or these look actually worse than many older phone cameras can do? There is barely 2 MP worth of details and indoor shots are way below 2 MP. Why have even 12 MP, if it is impossible to deliver?
One thing I would say is that iPhones still have the best colors for phones; even better than Samsung's.
But still, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZqUyXRvMMU&t=631s
Would take a GF1 with a pancake F2.8/F2.5 instead.
Even my GX1 still holds
Carsten Thomsen: Apple has created a color-matched High-Dynamic range eco-system, thus making this complex area a “no brainer” for the average consumer.
Like it or not, photos will look best if viewed in that environment. Due to Apple’s market size this will help push the rest of the industry in that direction.
With my shaky hands, I can now shoot tack sharp handheld 3 second exposures with my 11 pro max,. With the latest OS versions I seem to be able to get usable shots up to 10 seconds handheld.
Yes, there is nothing like my good old D850, but it requires a lot more work to get similar dynamic range and exposure etc. And yes, I also shoot raw with the 850 and am thrilled every time I work with its fantastic files.
But at the end of the day, I must confess that often when I look at what comes straight out of the camera on the iPhone, I often marvel.

Why do I feel this is more justified than a Leica M-10R?
LiveFromPhilly: The 'Beauty Effects' turns people into anime. I think I want this camera more now so I can finally be Yu-Gi-Oh.
Wish I could look like a JoJo guy carrying over 20Kg of lenses single handed
Jeadm: I've never understood vlogging appeal for the Panasonic G100 without image stabilization. Given that serious limitation, I'd be compelled on micro 4/3 to give even the aging G85 a hard look.
IBIS generates heat and lowers battery life A LOT.
The G100 would be at the size of a G90 or GH4 if they would add IBIS in a practical manner.
Panasonic should've made a spin-off LX100 that vlogs and has better dust resistance .
MUSTDOS: 90 cm closest focus, are you kidding me? That would be quite limiting for cat portraits;
I already own a helios 44m4 on MFT which gives around 100mm on 35mm equivalent
and it was already an issue for these type of stuff
We're going to hit 2030 soon and not 1930 to have a 100% sonar styled lens
A guy on a tight budget. I got it with a Tair3s for around $250

KoolKool: your camera and len maybe rugged and keep shooting during the rain, dusty but what the point when the front element is too foggy and dirty, the result of poor quality photo and it will hurt your pixel ego?!
Digital cameras are disposable, unless you have unatural emotional attach, you will replace the one you using for newer model after 1-2 years....
You must have pretty string arms if you replaced your iPhone for the Camedia
#12 looks like a a late 80's racing game cover
LenRivers: Just for the cost part. micro 4/3's or any other larger sensor camera can now be had for a very competitive price. Sony A7iii, I think Nikon D780, pretty much lots you can do with $2000 just for a camera body. There would have to be a pretty good reason if one was starting fresh to go with micro 4/3's over full frame. Unless physical size was a deal breaker sure why not..
Yea, but it's bad as FF. They could have aimed a bit better like GH5 or like 15ms close to GH5S. $2000-$3000 with bad rolling shutter is a disappointment especially from an MFT system

If Olympus solved the issue with the video rolling shutter and lack of micro-contrast without RAWTherpay's micro-contrast function, it would be a great deal.
Noobs, I've got a lot more headshots as a teen in TF2.
MUSTDOS: My main issue with it is the XEVC. Their new compression algorithm is overly the top aggressive which means more power consumption on editing and playback along with being a nightmare for streaming; no eye disturbing artifacts have been confirmed yet. I would wait for AI based compression than force myself into H.265 based XEVC.
Playback is more questionable on mobile devices.
Even AV1 looks more promising for now.
I meant even with 1080p H.265; it's quite unstable on my phone although it supports H.265 natively (krait 450) .
What I really mean is something should be done other than a new H.26x
And whether we like it or not, playback on mobile devices will be more common.

The main issue will remain with power consumption and playback on mobile devices; I still have issues to playback properly with H.265 on my phone quad core phone.
Makes me wonder if it's more of a gimmick or for cinema projectors only.
