northlarch: Honestly at this point I don’t trust Apple for any software.

I got rid of all the MS Office apps. The native Apple apps: Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are more than adequate for most tasks. And since MS never released a version of Access for Mac there is no reason to use MS Office.

Foskito: Many clowns making jokes, but the truth is this device is awesome. Hope it gets to more countries soon.

True, but inferior to the real scope exam.

Tom Schum: Back in 2004 I had a "virtual colonoscopy". I had to do the prep, then the tech injected some nitrogen, then I went under a CAT scanner.
Without the CAT scan, this camera will definitely reduce your radiation exposure.
Fortunately they did not find anything, or I would have had to do that prep all over again!
Same goes for this swallowable camera.
I've done regular colonoscopies since then. Just one prep cycle.

These virtual and pill camera exams are just a way to increase billings from people who are too afraid to do the real thing. Then if polyps are found it is double-billing for the doctor and double pain for you doing the prep twice.

Toni Salmonelli: Nice tech and it makes a colonoscopy a little bit less unpleasant. Since the prep is even more unpleasant as the actual colonoscopy (the colonoscopy is done under anaestetic anyway) a tech which gets rid of the prep would be great.

Unlikely, since the entire colon must be squeaky clean to see any possible pre-cancerous polyps. But yeah, the prep sucks.

This is cool if you are "low risk." But if you had polyps in the past or any are found by the camera then you have to do the whole prep again and get a proper scoping so the doctor can remove the polyps. I have had many colonoscopies and the worst part is the day before prep. The actual procedure takes about an hour and you are totally out on Propofol so you have no idea what happened. You wake up and go to Burger King.

If you want to know what "prep" means look up "colonoscopy prep"

Sigma82: Lovely camera. Always regretted selling miine

Yes, that is a problem with 10-year-old equipment. Mine is still Mint-, but no plans to sell it.

Johans81: Really tempted to buy a Xpro 1 with a 35mm lens or something like that just to have a small cheap fun camera with great jpeg processing. I never take my 5ds with me if its not for work anymore

Still have mine. This video motivate me to take it out and play...

"User Friendly": features like watermark:

"The watermark module provides a way to render a vector-based overlay onto your image. Watermarks are standard SVG documents and can be designed using Inkscape. The SVG processor of darktable also substitutes strings within the SVG document which gives the opportunity to include image-dependent information in the watermark such as aperture, exposure time and other metadata."

That is what most photographers are looking for, "strings within the SVG document "!
