I don't know why you removed your beautiful photo. I can read the enthusiasm that you must have felt when you discovered that rainbow in the photograph. And, for it to have happened on your visit to that really, grand canyon, must have been as great as your enthusiasm at having submitted it to a contest. Congratulations!

Thank you very much for taking the time to write to me. I removed it because it was on the 18th place and I usually keep only if they get 10 or better place. Yes, it was beautiful, and I even had one with two rainbows on it but I had already put it in a previous competition. I really appreciate your comment... :)

English is not my mother tongue... What I meant is that I had not seen in my personal gallery here that this same picture had been posted in an other challenge and in that other challenge, it came 1st BEFORE I posted it for this present challenge as being 25th in the Black & White challenge. I hope this clarify my reply.

I have thousands of pictures... from all over the world. For this 3rd time, I thought we had to take a picture that had already been posted and was not liked. I had not seen it had been 1st in an other challenge...

I think the animal had to be black and white... may be this is why I got 25th place, because I am looking through my whole gallery and I posted this picture again in an other category : Sad Zoo Shot : Any animals except apes/primates - (Full Colours Only + Border + Title watermark), and I made 1st place ;)

I just got a kitten 2 months ago and I am taking tons of pictures of this little ball of love. I post portraits of him on FB all the time and, as it has been said before, I think we don't have a critical eye when we look at our loved ones pictures. It is true that this cat is certainly beautiful, lovely blue eyes, nice patches of colour on its face, but the picture itself has nothing special. And the square format for a cat is not the best because of the long beautiful whiskers. I am sure Eliza brings a lot of joy in your life ! <3

barb_s: So, this filled up in 1 day, and every entry was correctly sized, and had a cat in the picture. I don't want to burden the voters with 200 cats to look at, so I am going to set up a second cat challenge that will run in 2 weeks. so, for those that missed this one, get your pictures ready for round 2.
