What you want is a little umbrella that fits on your hot shoe. That would be more discrete. You can always wear a rain hat to keep yourself dry.

Doesn't look any better than my XT-2

Why do people feel the need to take selfies? I can imagine they are useful as an alibi, but they are very narcissistic.

I wouldn't want to be in court with THIS as evidence that I was somewhere I wasn't.

Free licenses to an old version. Wow, how do they manage that without going bankrupt *rolls eyes*

Black is better. Even when I had a black/silver X100s I thought the all black versions looked better.

I think the legends are easier to read on the black bodies too.
are they doing a silver grip to match? Maybe a silver Fuji nipple ring for those die hard fashionisters?

(unknown member): I wonder, I prithee, what will follow the X100F? The X100?

Yeah there are other letters but how will they help with the current convention.

X100 was the original
X100S was the (S)econd
X100T was the (T)hird
X100F was the (F)ourth

What place in this sequence do most ofthe other letters have?

X100V was a good compromise except there is no V in Fifth unless Alex meant it as a Roman V

As an X-T2 owner I am not in the slightest miffed about the X-T20.

Firstly they say how similar it is to the X-T2 then rattle of a list of all the things is DOESN'T have, any of which is worth the extra I paid for the 2.

Good luck to anyone who buys this.

What an ugly device. If that was used during WWII then fine, but it looks very much out of place today.

$6000+ for something that has half the bits missing.

Would it take a better photo than my X-T2?

Cannon [sic] obviously :)

How many nuts have that much clearance around them. Nice idea but like every other adjustable spanner design I have bought, it would end up at the bottom of my tool box while I use the simple double ended ring spanner from 20 years ago to get the job done.

Tan68: I wonder if 'Canon Inc' was misprinted so the people could argue it wasn't a complete copy in some effort to later divert a copyright infringement suit..? Not that I think that would be a successful argument.

I am just trying to rationalize how they could miss such an obvious part of the lens markings. Surely, it is possible to put a space between the 'Canon' and the 'Inc'

Perhaps someone in the crime syndicate had second thoughts and deleted the space as a warning to the unwitting public..

If so, I hope that hero was not teabagged with cement shoes into the Giants football stadium.

Blue birds help us if the counterfeiters add that space on their next effort !

I am sure that there are many ways to tell the two lenses apart but this was the easiest to spot.

Old Cameras: I want one.

Who is this aimed at? The Phantom is already out there for serious work. it's faster and at higher resolution. I know it's super expensive but in industry, quality/results come before cost.

I was given one of these when a friend had bought a new camera. I thought it was very nice at the time. I only really remember using it at an outdoor BBC Radio event 1 week before 9/11 to photograph Kylie Minogue in Leicester.

That sounds like the kind of rubbish I'd say.

It's easily solved for motor racing. If they designed the cars at an angle they would appear normal as they raced past.

Yes because the cloth is impervious to a Stanley blade.
