About me:
Andrew, 35, news editor for a car-themed news website in southern Russia. Photography is one of my more recent hobbies (since 2018), and my ambition is to become a well-reputed amateur photographer with a distinct artistic vision and an open worldview. I mostly shoot street, nature and travel, although there has been a recent shift towards portraiture and events (people keep asking and I keep obliging, although there is still a bit of a learning curve for me before I can call myself a portrait photographer). So, a bit of everything, I guess. A fan of Sony mirrorless cameras and Sigma glass, but I respect all brands and always admit when someone has a superior vision to mine. Skill and talent come first, gear a distant second. Fluent in Russian, English and German, but please let me know if I fail to get my point across. UPDATE: to hell with this fascist country! This is not the future I had hoped for. |
