Have you considered the Sony RX10iv? Yes, a smaller sensor but not so much smaller than MFT (Oly/Panny). There’s an interesting discussion here from a couple of years ago which is worth a look. Goo ...

As someone interested in a D-Lux 7, could I ask in what way is it not a rebranded LZ100ii? Is it anything physical, the jpeg colours or something else that makes it worth more. I appreciate the ...

Hi Stevie Boy Blue I've read your excellent reviews before but was just wondering whether the FZ300 has the clever (some might say pointless!) 4k 'fun' modes such as the post-focus and what I think ...

May be hard for you but I'm happy to say you wouldn't do much, if any, better with other kit. Super shot which anyone should be proud of. Well done, John

As they often do. WEX has it at £1299 which is a regularly discounted price at different times, usually about twice a year. Lots of people would like a Mark 5 but very few actually need one. It's ...

This is slightly older but hopefully relevant to the OP. Read through the comments however. What happens to my photos if I cancel my Adobe subscription Regards, John

Thanks all and, yes, I did do a Google search but the knowledge and friendliness of people on DPR's forums made me try a query here as well. Topaz Photo AI does work on my current machine (running ...

Probably a common problem but I have the above machine with a 500GB SSD. I understand from my enquiries I may be able to upgrade to a larger (and possibly faster SSD). 1 or 2 TB would be ideal but ...

Thanks for posting, that's useful info. I have just bought the Topaz suite and I can use it from Photos but have to "edit with" and then re-import the finished product back into Photos - so being ...

That's amazing, thanks and also to Conrad for commenting.

Quick answer is no. I believe the OnOne versions do work as Apple Photos extensions but not the Topaz products. An alternative is the Luminar Neo extensions but they have very mixed reviews. ...

That DiMAGE Z6 looked like the future once 😉 Always a shame but then I can't get film anymore for my very 1st camera, a Kodak Brownie 127! That's life.

Hi I can't seem to find anything about this, just an increased price of £229 (from £179) for all the extensions. Do you have a link please (I'm also in the UK)? Thanks, John

I largely agree with everything you say. I have tried to support Skylum (not least because they are based in the Ukraine) and have purchased 5 different versions of Luminar and 2 versions of ...

And thanks for pointing that thread out. It's all confirming my thoughts about conversions lenses (which is a shame but maybe to be expected). Cheers, John

Thanks Jack but I do have the Sony HX90v which is nice in good light. The phone is better (IMHO) in bad light when the computational stuff kicks in. Also the phone has a not bad w/a lens which is ...

Thank you all. I'm now a bit on the fence about conversion lenses. I know I always avoided them on my camera lenses (both film and digital) because of generally poor image quality but I was hoping ...

I have the above phone with the usual triple camera and the long end has a 3x focal length equivalent of 78mm on a FF camera. I would love to be able to extend this by at least double (i.e up to ...

Thank you all, Black Monday seems an excellent idea. Even without any affiliate discount the savings seem very worthwhile and all your suggestions are much appreciated. As it happens, just this ...
