yokochanie: He said sorry and he admits clearly that he has some issues in the sense that he has, he states, made a lot of mistakes, and that he is trying to be a good man.
First he needs to pay any medical bills for the poor photographer kicked. Then he needs to check himself in to some clinic and resolve these issues he has. Plus maybe a concert with all the money going to victims of violence would be a good thing as well. He said sorry, now he needs to back that up with actions. He also needs to ask himself how he would feel if his son or daughter was kicked in the face at a concert.

wow Scottelly you logical is a little bit strange to say the least. So you hold a camera to your eye and someone kicks, ...what your fault if your face is smacked by the camera is it? I bet you would say the Japanese never bombed Pearl Harbour, they dropped bombs on battleships, it's obvious in the newsreel footage, it just got dramatized....FAKE NEWS.

It's a great idea and a great picture. And let's be honest, winner of the contest might do something, but the publicity when it was realised the picture was faked hasn't hurt Yu Wei. I imagine his phone is ringing non stop now. If he has just won, few would know about him, but this has made him know world wide. Clever.

Yu Wei I think was laughing through every word of his apology, but hey, he has done his career a power of good. Companies will like that attiude sadly.

On article Introduction to Food Photography (58 comments in total)

This is a first class article and really contains all you need to go out and start. I totally agree Shallow DoF gives better results, the pictures invite you in that way.

I have never done any food photography but this weekend will be doing some and am looking forward to it. There is more then enough in here to provide a good start in this field.

Many thanks

Malcolm
