WD seems to be flakey to me recently. They have a color problem too. Gone are the dependable Green and Blue drives. Got a Caviar 4GB that died within 2 weeks. I never use more than 2GB's WD.

Lanidrac: 85mm's. Do i need a 85mm lens? Nope. 84mm would be better.

Maybe there's a 82-88 Canon 2.8L soon?

Yake: It's a portrait lens, but it's also an event photography lens (weddings, etc.) — extra useful with image stabilization.

I fail to see your point. It's stuck at 85mm's. There is no more useless reach to me than that even at FF!

Lanidrac: I feel ripped of by Canon for spending $4500 for the 5D4 and they bring out this?!

You're missing the point. Cam makers and retailers are screwing people in this industry. The 5D4 was supposed to be worth $4500.

Yeah, right. Stupid thing to say.

Kabalyero: I was super excited about the camera then read the part about Canon saying that the dynamic range may not be as good as that in the 5D as well as the comment from DPR about it being non ISO invariant. Next to the articulating LCD, the improvements on sensor performance for dynamic range and high ISO over the original 6D is the parameter that I was keeping tabs on as I need these for landscape and astro photography. In any case...let's see what happens with the detailed testing...although I am sure I can still shoot badass images even if Canon crippled the sensor performance.

Seems upgrading Canon cam bodies means we should look to other cam makers now. I'm not happy.

You can't get into a pro or semi-pro sports venue with a DSLR unless you're the press. Period.

Lanidrac: If cam makers got really serious and put in dslr sized sensors, raw and other dslr options into these cameras then who then needs a DSLR? Some are at 7 fps now. That's almost my 7D! 24 to 2000 mm's without swapping glass? Amazing stuff and it's only going to get better.

I love my 5D Mark 4. L glass rocks. Cropped sensor cams no more! Whoo-hoo! Only cost $10,000 to play too!!! Glad I did.

My old Epson Pro 4800 sits at the end of my driveway in plastic bags for 5 days now - nobody wants it! I will never buy another Epson printer no matter what gimmicks they come up with. The high cost of owning an Epson Pro printer and the printing hassles over the years has soured me permanently against the brand.

Interesting. The only practical usage I can see these days for 3D is for surgery. I'm closed minded. ;-)
