BobT3218: Not quite clear about these manual lenses. MF I understand. However, what about AE? Is there no electrical connection at all to the camera? Does it require stopped down metering?

When u manually operate the lens aperture, the camera image sensor knows exactly how much light it gets from the bottom of the lens, that is the source for AE.

X100V is weather-sealed...specification in the comparing table is wrong.

X-S10 is the new king of APS-C Mirrorless bodies, considering its specification and how much it costs.

Why give up giving a graph to show how effective the IBIS can do? I want to see how Canon's 8 stop correction comparing Oly's 7 stop.

LuxShots: How is the review going?

I know this is a whole lot of camera to review (I own the S1H) but I'm still very curious on your insights.

This one is surely gonna be a Gold Award since GH5 from Pany, 3 yrs ago.

I'm a Chinese and I don't like or own any of their products.
As I can READ CHINESE, I'd like to say, these Chinese words on the pictures weren't depicting anything they have shot those pictures by P30, instead, they're kind of marketing words showing product culture that sort of thing.
Even so, I think obviously they haven't done properly with these marketing materials, they're so easy to misguide everybody.

Let's wait for Panasonic coming out with a Lumix branded Q2 without challenging your marriage, lol.

A Gold Reward is guaranteed here.
As M4/3 shooter, I'm happy with Fuji coming out with this kind of killer camera, good for the whole industry to push ahead quickly, not still squeezing toothpaste.

Its over large and over weighted completely destroy my will to have one.
As a Panasonic user, I'll continue staying in M4/3 system until they come out with a lighter body full frame.

Sharing a lot of content from Z7, this first impression is almost a full review without a verdict.

It's too easy to predict from that big heavy dumb cubic organic sensor debut body, for at least 5 yrs couldn't we get any of those sensors implemented in a normal size camera body.
Nevertheless, it's a good news, the gate of a new era is opened.

If there is a team of Pretending-rivals-don't-exist companies, Sony would be the captain.

I never used a lens from Sigma, knew nothing about their products, but now I know that is a respectable company.

Camera market has a very deep bias toward long-live brand, every amateur wants a camera branded Nikon or Canon, which considered to give them some "professional illusions", therefore a new brand like Samsung with exceptional(also advanced) specs can fail...
So now, Samsung, sell your sensor to Panasonic and Olympus!

Alexstaytrue: Without looking at those photos with bokeh, I can barely tell most of these samples taken by a phone or a camera.
I'm not complaining about LX100II's imaging capabilities, but having doubts about Dpreview's sample galleries really DOES having a reference meaning for its viewers.
Don't shoot these samples like an amateur, you're a professional photography device media.

I'm not an everyday English speaker, maybe I chose wrong word. Thank for you explanation.
What I am trying to say is Dpreview's sample galleries don't represent the camera's essential imaging character or quality, for the most of time. The pictures they take look "flat "and "non-emotional", they just look like any other camera or cellphone.
I don't agree ergonomics is the essential character to differentiate a camera and a Google/Apple phone. I think m43/aps-c SOOC quality (color rendering and ISO performance) is far beyond any cellphone including Google Pixel according to my own experience on these devices. Sensor size still matters.

Is there an A7 III firmware with time-lapse coming out before you release 12 lenses and AI stuff?

What EOS R tells us is Canon just released the most dumb-looking industrial design among all the three FF mirrorless brands.
