Thanks. I have a water housing. The risk is for being so close to the action. At full speed and with the fins under their boards, surfers can easily cut through your skin/head. I've seen nasty ...

Excellent ! love the first one great composition.
-
Yes me too the conditions are not that good right now. Thanks

You have a great eye because this is exactly what I had in my mind during the color grading. Thank you.

In-water surf photography is definitly the most challenging thing I've done with a camera. The surfer did a full rotation over my head and land right in front of the lens. Still trying to find ...

Well the fact is it shows more severe distortions when compared to cameras that can effectively reach 1/60s sensor readout speed. Matthieu didn't talk about some high iso settings, video or ...
-
Lol, nothing vague here but feel free to believe what you want...:-) The distorsions spotted on the G9 has nothing to do with pre burst mode specifically . It's just there with electronic shutter.
-
Maybe you have to read the whole article... " The Panasonic has other similar features to the E-M1 II including a Pre-burst mode which works like the Olympus Pro Capture. The buffer at 20fps is not ...
-
The G9 sensor scan speed is not as fast the EM1 mk 2. You"ll see more distorsion with the G9 in electronic shutter. Mirrorlesscomparaison.com did a article on that ( Em1mk2 vs A9 vs G9). ...

We're talking about a FREE upgrade here. Nikon asked 199euros for the same thing. And they need your camera to activate that firmware... 1) They are a lot of great lenses you can use that are ...

I know that, my point is the 17mm PRO is better optically corrected than the 15mm from panasonic so it will show less distorsions and other abberations.
-
Very impressive indeed, thanks for that. With that rugged body, best IBIS in the industry, great video AF, small form factor and Prores Raw, the Em1 mk3 become a very good run and gun option. ...

This is still the best option in the m43 world according to Matthieu. https://mirrorlesscomparison.com/best/mirrorless-cameras-for-birds-in-flight/

Wow what an impressive review, very professional. That lens is just superb; great image quality, perfect weight and size plus it works great for video too. Impressive results by the R6 too but I'm ...

Very nice. Tbh I like your shots with the A9II more. They are really great! Probably due to the fact that you get more range with that combo ( less cropping in post).
-
The thing is I don't seek validation so I really don't care what you think about me.
-
Nice shots. Number 2 for me.
-
I agree with you. People are so deep in fanboyism here that they simply refuse to see simple facts. As for your question I don't think panasonic will ever admit that...

SH1 is how it's called on panasonics bodies. That's being said you only get a 18mp JPEG file with a G9. With Olympus you'll get full Raw files so it's not even close.
-
Pity ? Lol sorry man but you're a joke. Here is a thread exactly like your own description ( insecure owners looking for validation) from G9 owners : The G9 SYNDROME ...
