  • Thanks for trying to explain this to me lacogada but I still don't understand. Also, since I first posted this question I've discovered that only a duplicate layer from the original image will ...
  • Created question thread Adjustment Layer Limitations?
I'm trying to learn how to use layers in Elements 2020 and I've noticed that Adjustment Layers have very few adjustment options. Most of the Enhance drop down menu is grayed out and some tools ...
  • Replied in Oranges
Yes John. Sabrina81 felt the same way. She did an edit above that addresses your observations regarding more shape to the oranges. I've been trying to wrap my head around using a layer mask all ...
  • Thanks John. You're right about the hat. I appreciate your input on this image.
  • Replied in Oranges
Thanks again Sabrina81. I'll be studying layer masks today.

Thanks for the edit and suggestions Sabrina. I'll experiment on this image with contrast and sharpening adjustments. I'm limited by my editing software which is PS Elements 2020. I'm not familiar ...
  • Thanks everyone for all the info. I bought this lens in order to photograph distant objects on the farm land near my house ( think barns, windmills, farm equipment, and such). I can't get close to ...

Really nice photo Panet. The web is tack sharp and really captures one's attention.
  • I'll try to answer your question Ernie. Click on Filter at the top of the screen. Go down to Brush Strokes and click on that. Select Spatter and the Spatter tool should come up. You can experiment ...
  • Thanks Rick and Davids. Next time I visit this tank I'll try a shorter focal length lens to put some distance to the subject. This property is surrounded by an electrified barbed wire fence and ...
  • Any reason the Manfrotto 293 telephoto lens support wouldn't work with a Sony a6300 and Sony 70-350 lens?
  • Anyone have the arca swiss part numbers for a rail with integrated clamp that will work with the 70-350 lens and a Manfrotto quick release tripod mount? A link would be helpful but don't know if ...
  • Fantastic shots! I'm generally not a fan of snakes but these images are beautiful. How did you get so close to the pit vipers?

Yes, that is a much better sky landscaper. I'm using Photoshop Elements for editing and will try to find the dehaze tool or filter for my future edits. Thanks for taking the time to improve my photo.
