  • Hi everyone had a trip to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra over the weekend and took the E-mount 20mm f 2.8 and wide adaptor along. It was mounted on my old Nex 5. The main subject that I ...
  • Hi mate thats the nail on the head right there. I have an Minolta 85 mm f1.4 that I purchased years ago when I photographed weddings. Its is so sharp that it has to be used with care, it shows ...
  • Hi mate, then spend a lot more money  and the limitations are removed,
  • Hi mate, yes a lens that cost a lot more should be better, don't let simple comparisons change your mind. Here are some real world images taken with my 55-210, pixel peepers might find cause to ...
  • Replied in Ned...
    Regards. Stephen.
  • Hi Zin, like all the angles and colours and the texture's. Might be a ghost town but looks like a great place to spend some time. Regards. Stephen.
  • Replied in Emptiness...
    Regards. Stephen.
  • Hi mate the colours look almost tropical in this one. I it was possible to shoot this one from a lower level the two "ships" would have appeared closer together, and might make for a stronger contrast.
  • Hi Michel, well you are spoilt for choice living in France. So many places to visit so little time. As for Venice it was nice, very crowded, if you look along the bottom of the image that I posted ...

Hi Lou, I love the tones in this one, something I find a challenge with my B/W efforts. On first look the tilt seemed strange, but as I focused on the image it seems to barrel around to the left. C ...

  • Replied in Seeing Stars
Hi make this one almost looks like its emerging from the ground beneath, the colours and textures match so well. Regards. Stephen.
  • Replied in Clowns
Hi Mike, I like the story line with these three. First the anticipation of the game, the playing and the realisation that the first two are better than the prize given. Great story and colours that ...
  • Hi Wayne, you have read my mind, I am heading out on a bike ride on the weekend with a pie shop as the destination. Meat pies are a integral part of life here in OZ, so a fifty KM ride for a pie ...
  • Hi Monty, nice bikes although I prefer mine without an engine :-) As for the image I would like a little crop of the bottom, perhaps to the first white line. And maybe a little off the top. This ...
  • Hi Michel, nice series, an impressive lighthouse, I like the way the stone changes colour with the light. Regards. Stephen.
