On photo Warm Tranquility in the Forest challenge (2 comments in total)

I have to disagree: I think this isn't a great shot, all I can see is a blown-white sky and a massive amount of flares. There were many great photos in the challenge, maybe some of them deserved to win more than the actual winner, but this one is honestly nothing special...

Brilliant shot: unbelievable colours and lighting. It would be nice to see some EXIFs ;)

On photo Moon House_V1 in the Interesting Landscapes challenge (24 comments in total)

I understand the point of the photographer and I agree with most of the comments before mine; this is indeed a striking image, but how is that possible that so many people have been "fooled" into voting this as the best of the bunch among 178 other photos, many of them brilliantly done? Just a quick look at the EXIFs would have confirmed that this is a fake, and from my point of view is more a "graphic creation" than a photography. My rant is not aimed at the photographer, as I said at the beginning, but at the voters. I really can't understand why so many photographers (after all this is a community of photographers!) didn't vote as the best one of the other real and beautifully done shots that were entered in the challenge...

PS: that said, I think the starting photo, ie the one without the "glued" moon , was actually an amazing shot, I wish I'd taken that myself ;)
