Michel J: Why an E-mount when we can have a real DSLR with A-mount for the same price?
nothing stopping you to mix apples and oranges and you should get a delicious fruit marmalade ;-)
Michel J: Why an E-mount when we can have a real DSLR with A-mount for the same price?
Yes SteveY80, so true...
Paul1974: an A3500 better in what?
Today E-mount, mostly have no: IBIS, x-fine Jpeg, no huge lenses choice, no compatibility with Hasselblad-HV system, no compatibility with A-mount lenses except with an adapter, no compatibility with A-mount legacy battery cameras and accessories, low res LCD and EVF, no articulated LCD, no wireless flash, limited exposure compensation to 3 EV (flash 2 EV) instead 5 EV, no microphone port (nor headphones), no GPS, and so on. And probably the lack of keys features such as AF-lock toggle etc) So what? ... E-mount are certainly great cameras for some specific needs and portability, but imho, we mix apples and oranges E-here :-)
Yes, I said "we" zkz5, for the rest of us ;-)

As you know, or you may not know exactly, any today A-mount have all features required for professionnal photography. So no offense, but I don't know what you are tried to explain here?
mosc: Maybe Sony's next A-mount will be an E-mount with a bundled adapter. What do you guys think?
Hasselblad have both, A-mount for serious photograpers and E-mount for techno geek, the second should pay the cost of R&D for the benefit of the first one: simply clever!

Shield3: Methinks Sony has finally killed the A mount altogether. Haven't seen anything in over a year with the A58.
To Shield 3:
eeh !!
What do you know about A-mount ??
Can we see anything or achieve whatever it is, with cameras that we have never had?
For the whole system, an "Highly competitive price point" ...hum, really? Some DIY solutions cost slightly less than US$ 1500 I believe!
But yes, it's really nice!
I like it so much ! :D
Why this photo does not won?n?
Congratulation!
dcperspective: No IS No Sale for me.
You can switch for Sony SLT or Pentax, and you can get IBIS
Why does this photo doesn't received the first prize?
smtnm1: Interesting but not really useful. Very few people will be tearing down an iPad for repairs, including techs.
Do you agree that?

Danny: Even Apple has said bye-bye to Abode, for instance check the new Mac Pro on their site, the “Performance” is now measured with 'Pixelmator' (!) instead of Photoshop: http://www.apple.com/mac-pro/performance/
Maybe you mean (w)Intel based computers? But since we know from 2006, that OSX run on Intel processor exclusively, these are outdated informations a tad here, because any Mac can run under OSX or Windows as well without any differentiation (with "Bootcamp") if I'm not wrong. That tell to me the Mac is found as well in the combined Windows percentage than in the Mac market share, makes that platform the most compatible and versatile combination. In the other hand — for the pact with the devil of the computing cloud, or the very lucrative paradigm of server farms — it seems to be that Apple and Adobe have sold their souls both.
Hahahahaha, that dog!
Sure we like dogs Brian!
Nice shot btw
Does this camera use films really ? ( :-) )
@ plastique2
The whole 38 millions accounts was hacked by the N$A through Adobe itself?
I don't understand, thanks to explain to me. ;-)

Well Grumpyrocker, if for you the "Prime" mode is like nothing...
Btw, take a look to the price of the update comparing to the "Creative Clouds", don't make as much sense to this kind of arguments, imho.
Cheers,
