Don't get me wrong. I like this Gitzo a lot. I have zero concerns with any of their claims and I'm even considering buying one. My problem is tripods are just built so solidly that they usually...

@KAAMBIC And notice how you wrote a lot of words, but didn't once address my response at all. And good on you for unsuccessfully attempting to dance around it, but the irresponsibility should be...

I wouldn't say they messed up as much as they just chose form over function. Yeah, it looks like you get a terrible purchase without the grip.

I don't know why the author kept comparing it to the X-S10. The X-Ex line has always been the rangerfinder-style version of the X-Txx line and it remains so here. I agree with you. I would have...

The author is spot on in identifying the X-Ex line has become less ambitious over time. Less control, form over function styling (that grip look horrendous), no weather resistance. Clearly, the...

Please. The claim that FF's future is somehow in doubt is only thrown around for the week after a new Fuji MF product is announced and then all that noise goes away. You know why? Because it's just...

@larkhon Your response is to zero in on the Canon comparison and then you're pulling out "whatabouts"? Then you're saying we should be thankful Fuji graced us with any sort of X-E4 at all? I mean,...

@MyReality I don't see where I came close to comparing an X-Ex model to an X-Tx model. I do agree with you about the segmentation, though. It does feel like they're positioning it lower than where...

It is a problem when it add that extra weight and bulk and takes away from what the body is meant to be. How you see that as being "no problem" is daunting.
-
Same. Sticking with an X-E3 backup.

I agree. The amount they removed devalued the X-Ex platform for me quite a bit. The X-E3 is a great little shooter, but I can't image using one without all of the rear controls they took away.

100%. Fuji needs to move on from X-Trans as quickly as they can.

I could definitely not call the X-Pro3 a compact travel camera nor would I think people who are looking at Fuji for a compact travel camera would even consider an X-Pro3. I do agree, though, the...

This is a strange update from Fuji. Usually, they're significant enough to consider upgrading from the previous version, but the X-E4 isn't that. At this price point and especially considering the...

I have serious doubt we'll ever see Photokina every again. I think this is it.
