While fooling around with high ISO in overcast conditions this warbler posed for a few seconds. The original image was extremely underexposed but DXO did a nice job on this crop.

Agree. The images are outstanding. I'm soooo jealous.

All very nicely done. Colors show deep contrast and good sharpness. I like Snapseed also. What settings or picture style did you start with in camera?

Welcome to the forum. I'm in the same quandary as you. My RX100M4 had some issues and I eventually sold it and now kind of regret it. Have you considered the RX100 VA ? Seems like a decent upgrade ...

Thanks. Yes, I will send Willis over to the Sunday Cat thread soon.

Fork Tailed Kite. The old Stylus 1's tiny sensor performed quite well even in this major crop. Feather detail is lacking though. The tree is now gone and we see very few kites these days.

Very nice shots, Bruce. The ZS100 did a nice job with you behind the camera. It's amazing what the ZS100/200 can produce when the light is good.

I received my lens back yesterday. Total turnaround time was about four weeks. According to the Work Order the repair ($118.) included, "REPLACED MOVING FRAME, SHADE 1G AND ADJUSTED ALL FUNCTIONS. ...

Compressed air might cause issues. Maybe vacuuming with a hand held vacuum would work. See my DIY solution for extracting sensor dust from my ZS200 here: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/66644015 ...

A 'quick fix' is possible IF the issue is merely a bit of fluff stuck to the blades. In that case try a bulb blower to shoot air between/around the blades; you may be able to manually open the ...

Good advice. I have the same issues with slooooow PL6 exports on my all-in-one Win 10 PC with 8GG Ram. Is it true that the all-in-one graphics cards cannot be upgraded? I only use Deep Prime or XD ...

I find that ACDSee 2023 does a fair job of blurring backgrounds, but I prefer to do it manually with the ACDsee blur brush using a Gaussian blur. Just for fun below is an old original image first, ...

Yes. Look at their website for details.

I use both PL6 and ACDsee. ACDSee is excellent for DAM. Been using it for 20+ years. However, I'm no professional (my images are proof) and by organizing my photos in folder trees by year, month, ...

I got lucky with this warbler as it snatched a snack. Not sure of the identity but the most common warbler in Florida in the winter is the ubiquitous Palm Warbler. They are FAST and tiny; this is ...

Excellent capture. Don't tell my TG-6, HX80, ZS200 and Stylus 1 either. :-)

I agree. A polarising filter is about the only filter I ever use.

Just heard back from Oly repair - one day after they received it. Cost of repair is $118. Sounds reasonable and cheaper than a new or used lens.

Just playing devil's advocate here since I don't own the lx100ii, but at TWICE the cost of the lx10 I couldn't see myself investing US $1,000. in the lx100ii when I have an Olympus M4/3 system for ...
