After 6 weeks and shooting many different genres; this is one fantastic peace of equipment. I have just scratched the surface of the abilities of this camera.
Week 6: Sorry, I have not found any faults with this lens. 16mm gives me the ability to shoot in close and 85mm covers 99% of the shots I want/need. With my 24mp D7100 and ability to crop, IF, I get into wild life again I will consider a long lens. Until then, I have not found a need.
18 months into this lens and the combination of 75mm (on my camera) and the F1.4 portraits...OMG. Add to this, the sharpness all the way out to F8...worth every penny.

Learning curve but a great product.
Improves and simplifies Apple Aperture
Other gear:
  • Black Rapids shoulder strap I can't even begin to describe the advantages of this strap. NO MORE NECK STRAIN!
  • Gary Fong Collapsible Defuser Fantastic! Fantastic! After a year of shooting with this defuser the rest are collecting dust.
  • Nikon SB-910 Just a GREAT "flash" unit: I take multiple shoots and this flash fires and does not over it! Not only is it great on TTLi but, you have infinite control over settings.
  • Peak Design Clutch hand strap
