Great quality images for a small percentage of the price of the f1.2 L but the autofocus is total dog poo!! Slow and hard to get it to latch onto what you want especially at close range.. better ...

my rf 16mm was similar, very tight when new, but its loosened up to what you would consider "normal" still secure now after a few times on and off
-
mines been used loads now and still feels as tight as the day it was made! No loose hinge on the screen, buttons all feel brand new and nothing has fallen off or broken
-
yeah not at all scared of high iso and low light on R5 either, had many pics straight out of camera clean as you like even between 5000-10000 ISO, unthinkable a few years ago!

Can argue its potentially a flaw as to carrying it around with the TC connected means you cant retract it all the way and make it easier for yourself while not in use, but I don't think its a flaw ...
-
also a good point that you can customize an awful lot of buttons on the r5
-
I do use it when im chimping pics waiting for the next action at events like airshow, sports etc :D saves a lot of time later to mark the best images especially if you are shooting big bursts

its definitely not a "horror show", I saw rf 16mm on offer the other day and picked one up, has some crazy stuff going on uncorrected for sure but actually decent lens for the small price, I also ...

I think R8 is the same modes as R5, but I found I use case 4 (For subjects that accelerate or decelerate quickly) and increased the accel/decel tracking from +1 to +2 and that seems to work very well

Most newer ones run silent (ie fans stopped) until they get proper demand and therefore generate heat that needs to be dissipated
-
Short answer is yes you should add one: using a GPU to process instead of the CPU will always be far faster. Why: all to do with architecture GPU chips are designed and optimised to parallel ...

That's an incredibly silly comment. The only thing closing off 3rd party manufacturers from RF does is allow Canon to be overpricing things and not have to be competitive. There are some ...
-
lets just point out how moronic canon are being stopping 3rd parties from making RF lens!

One of the few EF lenses I still use is the Tamron 70-200 mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2. A strange choice maybe.. dunno if I got super lucky but mine is absolutely pin sharp, happily offloading the rest ...

dont tend to shoot much over 400mm for planes anyway because the atmosphere starts to get in the way, particularly when its the middle of summer at airshows!
-
have taken 100s of excellent photos of planes (jets and warbirds etc) with the 100-400 cannot disagree
-
Because its very cheap and plastic feeling, it reminds me of the kit lens from my 77d way back when :D However really good optic for the price and USM means its almost instant to focus. I sold the ...

I always keep wishing they would add all the features of the newer cameras to the flagships but I suspect that even if they did I would never use them anyway :D I cant imagine they actually have ...
