A great trip and very nice images. I lived in the US SouthWest for many years and did some epic roadtrips in my years there - the US is made for it :) I find the single lens "challenge" quite ...

re: identifying files: I like to take a picture of something else just before and just after each stack "run". Generally what I do is take a picture of my palm before each run, and a picture of ...

Mine is about as wobbly as the button on my X-Pro1 and X-E2 and feels fine to use. The camera I had an issue with was the X-T3 which was really wobbly and was one of the reasons I returned it.

It's really only the 35 f/2 that has a lot of digital distortion correction (of the three fujicrons) - the 23 and 50 are corrected digitally, but don't have a great deal of distortion to begin with. ...

For me - if I was going to shoot 'red badge' zooms, I would stick with the Canon R system - I found the red badge Fuji zooms, while excellent optically, to be too large and heavy. Where Fuji ...

To be honest, I don't see much difference (but then I have not shot an entire battery with IBIS off to test). Don't forget that when IBIS is turned off, it is still using some power to hold the ...

LCDs are "off the shelf" components. It may be that during the run of production, the supplier of the LCD may change. Certainly the LCD batch or production run will change, even if the ...

I am having a reasonable success rate with the 16 f1.4 at about 1/10th when focused on a reasonably distant subject. I have not tried much longer shutter speeds than that. I find I need at least ...

It's Moire - it's not specific to the Z6 - all digital cameras will suffer from it to some degree - it has to do with the repeating thread pattern on the clothing. I see it a lot when doing ...

I don't think it's just you. I definitely see some red/magenta casts on the blues in Z6 files when I use Lightroom and use the Adobe "camera xxx" profiles. This disappears pretty much completely if ...

I don't see the issue you are describing. I use the Z6 as well an Fuji cameras and I don't see any difference in exposure adjustment between the two systems.

It's the first thing I turn off on any camera that has it. The perils of being a left-eye shooter with a generously proportioned proboscis.

23 f/2 80 F/2.8 macro 50 f/2 ...in that order of use. None of the primes gets as much use as the 16-55 though.

I'm glad to hear it's sorted and wasn't a problem with the camera itself.

Sounds like a duff battery to me - I am guessing that the mechanical shutter pulls more current to move the blades than the electronic shutter and the battery voltage is collapsing, leading to the ...

I voted "thinking about it", but really the answer would be "Yes, but not yet" - I may well buy it, but not until it and its firmware and mature and considered done by the early birds.

The X-Pro1 is the same. I thought the X-E line was same too, but after looking, there is no lock on the X-E line.

My favourite eyecup for the larger Fujis (X-Tx / X-H1) is the one from the GFX-50s: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1333282-REG/fujifilm_16559235_ec_xt_m_medium_eyecup.html It's nice and ...

I like a nice leather wrist strap, attached by a split ring. I like these http://remmen-straps.com/shop/no3-black/ , but the purchase decision is mainly geographic, you can find similar straps in ...

I can see no advantage in making a camera that does not have video capability. It does not make the camera larger, or bulkier, so if, like me, you have no use for video, you just simply ignore ...
