Really excellent image - how many images are in the stack?

Hi I hadn't really caught that there were firmware updates to the EF-M lenses. I see that i.e. the firmware 2.0.0 brings "Dual Sensing IS" for the EOS M50. Is anyone aware if there were any ...

It would be an absolutely no-brainer and cost nearly no development to produce the R7 and R10 in versions with EF-M mount ... Throw in an improved alternative to the 55-200 and all is fine :-)

After much debating where to go from my deceased Sigma EX 12-24 (full frame) I opted for the Sigma 8-16 mm (APS-C) - not ideal, but at least I consider the "fate" of my EOS M line to be, that it ...

One up for correction :-)

Hi I just finished this morphing video and had to share :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI-ezOBnqwg

... or is it just a name you have been given?

It may already have been suggested, but you may compare IQ between cameras and +/- teleconverters at The Digital Picture The link below is the EF 600 4.0 III with 2x on EOS 5Ds versus native on EOS ...
-
Indeed, except for the mount :-) I wonder how difficult it would be for Canon to manufacture these bodies in both the RF and EF-M mounts? After all is may just be a different mounting flange, front ...

A M6ii replacement would probably be welcome, or rather a M5 mkII is what I would want, but if this is a EOS R camera, then it can hardly replace a M6ii as it can not mount EF-M lenses!

I think you will be hard pressed to spot the difference between the zoom and primes at f/8.0 and above, unless you spend all your time pixel peeping at 100% - though I am sure some owners of the ...
-
I think the difference you are seeing is so small, that you risk any attempts to improve it will actually result in making it worse. I would be very satisfied with a lens performing like this in ...

It looks like an owl got into your headlights - consider releasing it ;-)

Now release a 6 mm for APS-C please :-) If it comes in EF-M mount I will jump right on it!

All parallel lines appear to converge at a distance no matter whether they go up, down, left or right - it is not really distortion in any way, but a consequence of the fact that things look ...

135/2.0 + 1.4 x vs 200/2.8 135/2.0 + 2x vs 300/4.0 IS Perhaps you may find either of the primes at a decent price comparable to the extender?

Regarding CPL filters, of cause there are still SLRs around, but do we need circular PL's for mirrorless, which has no semitransparent mirrors - I suppose an old-fashioned single layer linear PL...

... I think the essential thing is that you could disregard imager resolution, and focus on the fact that a newer camera probably gives you a lot of other benefits and improvements over you older ...
-
Actually yes, but not much :-) (You were the one starting exact math)

You are right - the exact formula is probably debatable, but one version is in the link https://www.pbase.com/lwestfall/image/52085939
