I am puzzled. You are asking a forum made up almost exclusively of folks who do not have both cameras and you have both? Surely, you are in the best position to answer this question. Only your ...

I am puzzled. Surely, if you want to compare M-mount lenses you need to compare on the camera body that's best for them, the Leica M (M10, M11, ...). Standard scientific practice: minimize ...

Shaky hands is likely not the culprit if the shutter speed is above 1/500. There must be another explanation. JP

Indeed! Was pressed by time. The following article explains things a little more (it's only part of the story, obviously). https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/news/donald-trumped-leica-skirts-german ...

Sorry for the typo “myopic”. I developed dyslexia in my 40s (strangely enough). :-(
-
You have brand mypoic vision for Sigma. Great. Some of us prefer Nikon simply because we like more than sharpness in a lens. To each its own. Nikon is not in charge of making other brands build ...

Peak design sling 6L would be my choice. Less stylish than ONA bags, but the zipper and more secure across the shoulder grip might be better for cyclng. JP

Evidence by skilled Nikon shooters? NOBODY has reported that that I read or watched on YouTube. This may be a urban myth.

The reason to buy a Nikon is partly because of the Nikon lenses. So, don’t buy into Nikon if you are not interested in buying Nikon glass. That’s the simplest suggestion.

Here is one Leica store in the US. https://leicastoremiami.com/collections/leica-m-system-m-system-lenses

In the US you can get quite a few lenses (most actually) in various Leica stores and in Paris, the last time I went (November 2021), there were quite a few new lenses for sale. JP
-
Don’t buy it from them. You are most likely to regret it. You can read lots of stories about that store on the internet.

No idea why you said what you said. But, for your information, I look at images at 100% (sometimes 200%) all the time shot a Leica M. Just as I did with my Nikon D610. I didn't know I was not ...

I can't talk about the 35mm summilux. But I have the 35 Voigtlander ultron 2.0 version 2, which is very sharp and I loved until I got the 50 summilux, which is in another category. I now try to ...
-
Just to make sure. The 50 summilux asph. Also has an integrated lens shade. The rendering of that lens is out of this world. JP

Oh, I want them to exist, as I own a Leica M10 which I love and 3 lenses (2 Leica and 1 Voigtlander) and intend to add some more lenses and possibly a M6/M7, as I shoot B&W film too! The reason ...

Aside from the obvious elitist overtones of what you are saying (which could be offensive to those who don't make a lot of money), you may want to think that cameras are also for photographers ...

US median FAMILY income is 80k. Do the math (and families more and more include 2 paychecks). Of course, your post could be ironic (hard to tell).

"Cost effective" is too vague to be useful in this context. There is a common sense of the expression where NO Leica M is cost effective. But imagine you can afford it and it gives you 10% more ...
