Sardonic G: I wonder how helicopter pilots feel about all this
They feel ... retired !
Georgescanvas: Hang on I'm confused here. Olympus already released the mark 4 version of this series a couple of months ago. .. Why are they updating the older model?
Two steps forward, one step back ... that's called progress !!!
K E Hoffman: You can not deactivate geozones!
You can self unlock SOME after checking a number of boxes absolving DJI of liability.
But even then you will find DJI geofencing is obsolete in that it will limit usage in areas and below altitude allowed under LAANC auto approval. And I can speak from directly experience, that DJI will not accepted FAA maps and Proof off LAANC as documentation to unlock to the legal limits. One person did this for me and his manager had him remove the authorization from my account in later days. That means where I live my drone is locked below the height of local trees and at half the altitude the local airport FAA allows.
If you rely on your drone for professional work you should make sure you own a Skydio2 or Autel drone in your kit. Or you may find yourself locked out of LEGAL flight areas.
Even the drone camera has to wear a mask ?
kobakokh: Photographer always had a dream - one camera with many lenses at same time... Now mobile phones will give them this opportunity, but with very small sensor inside... In future we will see iPhone XXX with 20 cameras - from 12 to 600mm lenses.
And all prime :-)
Bhima78: Good looking camera, but the price is still too high for what it is. This is a casual camera with enthusiast pricing. Should have a $599 option that includes the 17mm f1.8.
That was exactly $599 back in Jan 2016. How do I know ? Because I got one.
