I realise it's an old thread. But are there any experiences of the fuji 50-140 vs 70-200 2,8 in terms of AF?
-
As far as I know it's not a battery but a capacitor (an electrical component dat is capable of keeping a certain charge). Not sure where it's located though...

Yeah I agree. Its hard to fully test because it happened only 6 - 8 times with the old firmware. But when it happens again I'll report it and mention the firmware. Besides it being sporadic there ...

Just an update, I didn't have the issue anymore after the update! so it was definitely no hardware problem:) Happy shooting everyone!

I wanted to thank everyone! In the end I decided to buy the ET-8550. I will set it up today:)

Fujifilm was always very proud of their kaizen approach. It's very disappointing in deed, let's just hope they are not slacking behind to give us an incentive to upgrade. Tbh this would kill the ...

Fuji just launched new firmware updates for the X-T3 and T4 and other x-trans IV cameras. unfortunately we still cant save white balance shifts in custom settings:( extremely annoying and it would ...

Btw, I've also updated the firmware to version 4.50 now (previous firmware was 4.40). What about yours?

Ok this is very interesting. I hope the new firmware upgrade has something to do with it. All the times my settings were lost it happened after a quick battery change (so in a couple of seconds). Y ...

Thanks for this tip! I can definitely try this in the field and buy a powerbank with a USB-C to USB-C cable. The only annoying this is that I mostly use a leather Kaza halfcase (which I absolutely ...

I've had the X-H1 in -20 with no problems The X-H and X-T and X-Pro line are really reliable. The X-H line feels like it has the best build quality. I have used canon and Nikon lenses before. And I ...

Also worked for me! I love this forum:)

One other aspect of the models is the total number of ink types that are needed: ET-15000: 4 XP-15000: 6 ET-8550: 6 This makes the ET-15000 easier / cheaper to maintain...

That's a fair point. I dont have a printer yet. And I will do some (not many!!) color and black and white prints. I'm asking because the price of the ET-8550 is 714 US dollar and the XP-15000 is 296 ...

Thank you for the reply. I'm know there are third party cartridges too. But I'm mainly wondering how easy it is to fill the original cartridges. And what the risk is? So, in other words, what is ...

I realize this is a 1.5 year old topic. But I'm really curious about the refill options too. I've checked Jose Rodriquez video's it seems doable to hack it (via firmware updates) https://www.youtub ...

I think I agree with almost all your points. These are exactly my concerns, besides the T5 has a lower FPS due to the 40mp sensor and no option for a grip. I have to admit I got a warm and fussy ...

I did not want to start a new thread, but I have the same question. I'm using an old X-E2.
