I have used it to trip the shutter OK, but then I cannot review the photo on the camera LCD until I close the phone app. This is a big drawback for me as I want to review at 100%.

Photo mechanic is a fast way to clear out the trash, try a free trial for yourself. Bridge is much slower way to go.
