Looks really good - super rendering

"This camera's primary purpose, is for YouTube reviewers to review it." There's probably some truth in that.
-
I was thinking the same. Maybe there's a technical reason for this but I also think it's illogical.

is 'works quite well' better than 'works'?

Thanks, Interested to hear about your experience whenever you get more testing done.

I use the EF 200 f/2.8 II with my xh1, so same gen sensor. Focus is generally good once aquired. I don't shoot wildlife but I've tried birds in flight and it worked well enough. It struggles when ...

I sawed the petals off of the original hood and smoothed the cut with fine sandpaper. I don't like the look of petal hoods. I left a little bit of the indents though, looks a bit like an ashtray now.

Yes, I'm thinking of this adapter ring. Thanks

Thanks a lot, that's great. Thinking of getting an AD400 to replace an Elinchrom Brx set I rarely use. So your comparison is very useful. Have you tried the Elinchrom adapter on the Godox unit?

Ok great, thanks for this.

Thanks. Yes I understand this should be about this, but the shape and directionality of an LED is very different from that of a flash tube or a light bulb. That's why I'm looking for actual users ...

A question for actual users of this flash. Can you use this as a modeling lamp? The specs are 30w LED, which sounds powerful enough but how does it compare to a traditional 100w or 150w ...

I'm very interested by that new lens. 62mm filter size would be cool as it's the same as the 23, 56 and 90. Convenient to be able to use same lens caps and filters.
-
From the Summit video It looks more or less like the 23mm 1.4, what were you expecting?

Canon has a 400 DO, you should be able to adapte it with a Fringer

No I don't confuse underpowering with out of phase. I used a battery in the mic. Stereo fixer does a few things but in my case I used just one of the channels recorded for left and right.
-
Thanks for that. Yes a bit more gain would be nice going into the camera, but using the Comica looks like it would make the whole setup a bit too big for on camera use. Thanks for the reference ...

I usually use this microphone with a Zoom h4n pro for field recording. I needed something quite directional that's why I chose this microphone. I know it's not very sensitive. The on camera setup ...

Camera is Fujifilm XH1 Microphone is an AT 897 Cable is a cheap thing I found on Amazon HosaTech XVS-101F, I chose this because the cable was short and didn't want anything dangling. I'm guessing ...

I just started using my shotgun microphone straight into my camera via a XLR to Jack cable. It looks like it's recording the mono signal of the microphone to both channels but out of phase. Is ...
