Old Cameras: Interesting camera but it’s like Fuji is throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks. They don’t need six cameras with sensors between 24 and 26mp, they need three.
Figure out a formula that works, pick a lane.

That's why Heinz failed - nobody needed 57 varieties

dpr4bb: Anyone know if this model has an electronic first-curtain shutter? The X-T3 and X-T4 models do. But the X-T30 doesn’t have it, so shutter shock can be an issue.

Almost certainly not - its not in the specifications

Just tried it with Zoom - its frightening detailed - I'm going back to the .9MP webcam on the computer

Greybeard2017: Richard - you said "Fujifilm's face detection system is rather prone to false-positives. The camera found a face in this scene, which over-rode the chosen AF point" - I agree it detected a false face but what makes you think it actually over-rode the chosen AF point?

Here is an example from the X100V review - a false face has been detected at the left hand side but it didn't affect the Single Point which was focussed on the tower

Do you have evidence? The example picture in the review did not prove that this happens.

Sudaca: A good app, I did test a previous version and I liked. At the time the problem was it couldn’t read from an external HD on my iPad Pro. Now I went to look again and found out it’s more expensive than Affinity. That is hard to justify in my thinking, as the latter is so much more than a Raw processor.

If you could just persuade Apple to support Fuji compressed raw then I'd buy it

windmillgolfer: I think this will sell in vast numbers. 64GB at $399 is a good price. Even at the inevitable £399 UK price it will attract upgraders from older models and new to Apple converts. I can see many Christmas present purchases here.

Still cheaper than the original SE

Ben Herrmann: I realize it's all subjective, thus this is my opinion only. But I personally don't care for any of these compositions. It's as if they (he/she) were just snapping away at anything and everything just to display more shots. But hey, I know the next person may love 'em - such is life.

Is there a sufficient range to demonstrate the capabilities of the camera? Who cares about the compositions?

Some of the comments on Dynamic Range settings are confusing. As an example image 99 shows as "Dynamic Range Priority set to 200" - does this mean "Dynamic Range" is set to 200? The EXIF shows Dynamic Range as 400 (assuming this hasn't changed since the X-T30) and is backed up by the ISO of 640. It might seem to be splitting hairs but there are a lot of images with comments about Dynamic Range Priority.

Discombobulate: running IOS cannot be called as laptop, all files are locked down - which also means it's useless.

It has access to files and directories but definitely not like a PC

What do you mean by "locked down"?

The X-T3 can't shoot 4K/60P at 400 Mbps

I'm not sure that 4246MB/Sec write speed "far surpasses" 4GB/sec

This is quite clever - but it strikes me more as a proof of concept - not quite ready for prime time
