But why?

Any mobile sensor, no matter how many megapixels, is worse, than 6 mpix sensor from 14 year old Nikon D100. The key to better image quality is NOT in megapixels.

What about making 6 mpix...

The D5 uses the same AF system as the D5 - it is not wrong, but maybe you wanted to write something else...
